Yes, Thomas Henry, Lucas Joao, Ross Stewart, Viktor Gyokeres etc. ; all worth considering alongside him.

Gyokeres came on second half late on against Norway and really put himself about. Scored the second for Sweden with his constant pressure. Definitely looks a player in there.

 

I like him, I have been watching the under 21's and he he has been impressive.

 

Gyokores is a decent player but I doubt we would afford him. But I agree we should be targeting that type of forward player.

As an aside Edvin Kurtulus at CB seemed quite promising for a 22 year-old still playing in the Swedish league. Seemed very good on the ball at least from what I could tell.

 

Perhaps, but if Boro think it's possible then we should be considering it as well. I wouldn't be surprised if he's good enough for the PL already so given his age if he's obtainable it'd be a sensible signing.

Yes he has been praised by his teammates for sure. They did say the only reason he's been included is because of injuries though. As you said definitely one of the better Swedes on display.

 

Sure, but there's no shame in him being behind Lindelof and Jansson in the pecking order for instance, especially at 22.

Hammarby seem to basically never sell anyone for more than a few £mil, there could be a relative bargain there for someone.

Very true. Seems like he's filled in RB too. Just glanced at the Swedish press and even viktor gy*keres doesn't believe he'll be at Coventry next season. Teams like Fulhan, Boro and AIK are showing interest. No valuation been given though.

It annoys me when clubs do this. Loans often go a lot better when the player can gel with the squad, learn the system, earn the trust of the manager etc in pre-season. Sorting loans early maximises the chance of their success.

Scored 7 in 20 in the Champo last season and is only going to get better, sounds like someone we should be targetting to play to me.
