As discussed on the other thread you can have four loanees from one club with a max of two over 23. Archer is under 23 so would be perfectly ok.
Like you, I thought we could only loan 2 players from the same club. But it's actually 4 as long as two of those are U23's, which Archer is.
Excellent news that we haven't shot ourselves in the foot with this one. If it was Hause or Archer, Hause wouldn't have been my choice - glad that's not the case.
Does anyone know if there is a rule about how many players you can sign on loan from the same club? Could potentially affect our ability to get Archer if there’s a restriction.

It’s a little but crazy that a Champ team can have 4/11 players from one Prem Team. Over a 3rd of a team! Surely that’s open to some dodgy stuff one day? Not that we’d ever be involved in dodgy stuff, but you get my point.
You're only allowed one player with an 'A' in his name on loan from any one club in a season. Keinan Davis has already blown the allocation but Gino's decided to take on the alphabet authorities by getting Hause on board too. He thinks he can get it by them by registering him as 'House'. Probably too blatant to add a player beginning with 'A' to the mix too, so the deal is likely to collapse.
I'd hope not. If Sarr stays we need a left sided and central striker in a 4-3-3. Davis would be a good option for the central role. Not necessarily always going to be fit. Personally don't want to see either Bayo or Manaj starting games.
Seen a few Villa comments tonight that they reckon Archer will not be playing tomorrow (today for those of you in England) as he’s joining us. They play Bolton away. Normally I will look at our team sheet as soon as it’s tweeted. Tomorrow I will be looking at Villa’s.
i really think he could be loaned out just before the window closes. He isnt going to get "much" game time over Ings & Watkins, and we may even bring a striker in, unsure. But the worst possible scenario imo, would be we choose not to loan him out, then he sits on the bench week in, week out, 10 minutes here and there, and we hinder his development. The lad needs to be playing week in, week out at Champ level imo to develop/refine his game. To be fair, im not confident right now that Gerrard would make the right choice (for literally anything), but if we dont loan him out, i think it would be a mistake.
If we don’t sell Sarr then I can’t imagine we’ll be in for him. If we do though then Archer would be a seemingly fantastic addition at this level.
