I thought I read in the Wobby that they hadn't heard anything from Boro regarding the bid for Taylor. If i'm wrong then I still hope they go down!!:naughty:
The first bid, on Taylor's return to Boro, was clearly rejected as we subsequently went in with a higher bid around deadline day. I think Boro only made a decision that day but that's their prerogative.
OK, I meant it more as denying yourself lifes pleasures, in order to live a longer life. Have you become a vegan for a health kick, or because you feel sorry for meaty treat providers? Beer's not good for you, but I drink it because I enjoy it.

On the contrary - i have possibly been denying myself the pleasures of fruits, varying salads, vegetables due to meat eating heathenery ( made up word). had the vegan burger again today with the chips, had a salad in a sweet dressing, got me vegan cake with the vegan cream on da top here at me desk for me afternoon treat... If you read my posts in the other thread on the vegan subject, it answers your questions.... I aint pushing this on any one - it arose because two people on here I know very well made a coomnet -one said i was filled up with burgers and pies and the other said You obviously haven't seen Paddy for a year as he is vegan now... Then i was asked why i went vegan - -and the subject got its own fred -and funnily/strangely/surprisingly or just out of curious interest - the topic has been worthwhile and discussed.... I enjoy myself - cooking new styles of dishes - even shopping for vegan stuff aint so hard - going to restaraunts - i am surprisedt here is a lot of awareness for vegans but little catering - it imo is an expanding lifestyle -and certainly, if i were opening a food outlet - it would not be meat and fish based... Vegetarian and vegan places are opening up more and more - one needs to ask themselves - why? the russos did something right!:sign15:
Regards Andrew Taylor:- I feel that Watford were like a holiday romance for him; This new Southern girl was all sexy and exciting and did things for him he'd never experienced. He promised how much he loved her and wanted to be with her forever and all that (listening malky?) but as soon as he got back to Middlesborough, he found things all homely and comforting and didn't have the guts to make the break from the girl he's been with for as long as he can remember. And the things he's learnt from the holiday girl, he's had fun putting into practice on the bird back home, who doesn't seem too ugly after all. He might have given some nice platitudes down the phone if Malky really rang him in the North East but I don't think he was brave enough or that he truly loved us enough to dump the girl back home. We shouldn't have believed the old codswallop he spouted before his tearful goodbye.
