Can't see Doucoure leaving Rennes where he's said he's happy only to be shipped out on loan. Don't think he'd have a problem coming to the Premier League to play for us but he might decide to wait until the summer if Leicester and Liverpool want him too. I'd rather than him in the squad over Gueds to be honest.

Suggestions from Ouest France that Doucoure wouldn't be happy with the Granada move. Hope we don't mess this up trying to accommodate Guedioura and Watson.

 

An interview with Doucouré from a French journalist has him talking like the move is all done.

Sentiment doesn't seem to come into it with Gino and QSF. If it does go pear shaped it won't because we want to spare someone else's feelings.

 

Abdi has been one of our best players when he has played. No way should we get rid of him. When you look at his stats compared with the rest of midfield players, he scores the highest in a lot of categories.

Go on squawka player comparison and compare Abdi with Jurado and our other midfielders and you will find that he has done a lot more good than what people remember.

Gueds can go, surprised Fulham haven't tried to loan him with Jok being the boss and all.

 

Sadly I can't agree. Granted he's being played out of position. Looking at the players we're signing I can't see much of a future at the club for him.

 

I agree about Fulham possibly going for Guedioura, I thought Tommie Hoban now he is fit would be a target and possibly them loaning Vydra in the summer now it looks like they are losing their strike force either this window or next..

But a serious question, this is not sarcastic, if we persist with 4-3-1-2 with Jurado playing behind the strikers. What happens if he gets injured. Who will play in that position if Abdi is sold?

The stats don't lie, Abdi has done for more than people give him credit for this season.

I doubt it has much to do with AG/BW. WFC are almost secure in the PL, the Pozzos next priority is probably to lift Granada away from the drop zone. I think there is a more equitable share of the TV money coming for clubs like Granada in the near future.

I very much doubt he will be sold, he is my favorite signing of all from the Pozzos but unfortunately he lacks pace and I would say has been the weakest of the regular starters so far this season.

 

Adam L just interviewed on SKY outside London Colney and said how all sorted, he even has a shirt to hold up but they are just sorting out where he will go for the rest of the season and that Granada was the most likely destination as suggested above. Will definately be announced before end of the day as all the big men (Duxbury etc)are still at the training ground

 

Sky just said that we'll loan him to Granada straight away. Can't we bung them Gueds and Anya instead?

 

WD says Doucoure will go out on loan because Quique doesn't want to integrate another midfielder and wants to repay the patience shown by Behrami and Guedioura. Fair play I say, if Doucoure is ok with the plan then we can't really argue with that reasoning.

I don't believe that. If Flores even remotely trusted Guedioura, he wouldn't have fed him scraps of game time all season.

If there was an obvious way to get rid of Gued and another, then we would have done it. And Doucoure would be straight in to the squad.

 

If only there was a month long period where teams could get rid of players they didn't want....
