For the record Nairobi, I think you're good. Just reading the situation inaccurately right now.

Right, I think I've seen enough today to cast my vote already. Without a doubt Darave has to go tonight - you just cannot expect to live when you're guaranteed to have been named evil by the seer. Even if you're the tinker we can't take the chance, and then that would leave open other suspects.

Re. Norway - good chance he was the witness, doubt he was the seer - but is there a chance that he was the martyr killed by the non-alpha wolf? I wouldn't rule it out, but as others have pointed out, looks to me like his unusual voting patterns were clues. Which leaves me suspecting moog and miked (who I suspect know each other's identity). Harrow is a name that has appeared a lot and I will be keeping a close eye on all posts...

    But for now, sorry Darave.

Can we just clarify - is it safe to assume that Cthulu was the traitor?

Also people keep mentioning the reverse-seer tinker but there's no mention on the rule page. Anyone?

no its not safe as apparently a wolf could have killed another wolf before he got killed eg cthulu killed a villager then one of the other wolf's got him

Yes I did think that - just wasn't sure if that would be made clear to us or not.

We will know by tomorrow morning though. If he was a traitor, 3 people will die tonight.

If he was a wolf, then only two will (unless of course we kill a wolf tonight)

wow that was a lot of reading. the writing is pretty much on the wall here though, right? we have to vote darave off tonight, anything else is ludicrous. if he is the tinker then we just have to move on.

sorry darave but you have been playing the game long enough to realise that there is no way you can survive this vote.

Quick thought - if we're of this thinking about the wolf then can we think the same re. Norway potentially being the guardian? Again, I guess we will find out tonight.

Not trying to overcomplicate things but want to make sure all bases are covered!

You're the one to work it all out, yet you don't have the courage to follow through and vote out the evil.

Mike hasn't said a word since this morning when he convinced you all to vote for me. Harrow started the voting. Moog is playing a great game, as I would expect.

    Bravo lads, bravo.

I do agree with you that these three are suspect - however you've been playing long enough to know the deal - we can't take any chances.

Good point actually, had forgotten about the possibility he was the Guardian.

Again, we will find out tonight

Well I was guarded last night and there was no mention of my guardian being killed. I assume that if a wolf went for the guardian then they either wouldn't be able to guard someone or would be attacked whilst at their post?

Oh, don't get me wrong, I know I have to go. I just wish people would take the time to read my posts from this morning.

I promised that I would vote to lynch myself first thing tomorrow if miked was anything but bad. I asked people to check Norway's posts.

WT, Nairobi, Diamond and HH (you too by the sounds of it) all smell a rat but they aren't bold enough to vote against the group.

It's not about going against general opinion, I'm too long in the tooth to worry about that, it's about taking logical, thought out steps towards the long term goal for which killing you is just another move in that direction. You being good or evil is now long past worrying about, but it takes us to the next step.

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

I assumed Norway was the witness but completely forgot about the Guardian. Now I'm even more confused.

    Darave tonight, miked tomorrow.

I think most people seem to agree with this line of thought so the wolves can't kill us all tonight.

Unless of course the two messages tomorrow tell us much more

I don't think miked had any role in 'convincing'. You'd have have a screw loose not to vote for you today. Whichever message is from who, you have been viewed as evil. Fact. If we don't vote for you the element of doubt goes on, if we do, we know for certain if you were evil or in fact the tinker. No brainer.

Can't believe I've been made a suspect due to Nairobi's quite bizarre theory. In no way did Norway call me out as evil. Purely just disagreed with me (and rightly so).

    Sadly, you're right.

I suppose I deserve this fate after the last game. Well done Mike, you have got some sweet revenge.

Doesn't make much difference either way but seems an extremely bizarre vote, especially as Darave has been confirmed lynched

Darave8 ( who i think needs to be lynched tonight ) has enough votes to go anyway. my votes not going to make a difference.

Just in case i get killed by a wolf tonight it's always nice to leave something out there for those fishing tomorrow

    Also

having names who i think have been suspicious, Diamond, Nairobi for example, if i am taken out then those i have named and voted for will be scrutinised. It also makes the wolf think twice about who to attack. It also give the guardian a easy choice of who to protect. defending 15 votes against darave8 isn't going to be easy !

    TVoR taught me he logic.

I agree that when we find darave is guilty tonight, those who have defended him, but then changed tack when he was obviously going to be killed are suspicious.

But then so are the ones who stay quiet, wait for the vote to get one sided, then chip in with their suggestions.

This is intriguing. Never has a hint been dropped so obviously. Why do that if there is no suspicion on you and it could well lead to you being killed? I don't expect an answer, just asking the question.

First post of the day for me, been very busy sourcing new local ales for the Tavern (*employment law exam*).

No doubt we have to go for Darave. It's not like we're at a dead end. We'll have enough to go one tomorrow whether he turns out to be evil or the tinker, we just need to tie up that loose end.

I'm very intrigued by the peculiar split in opinion on what is a pretty clear cut day. Traitor, witness and masons seem to be working overtime. This has not been a normal response to a player getting named almost conclusively as evil.

Anyone else thing this post is strange? It's not only about your vote making a difference, unusual behaviour like this attracts all sorts of the attention.

And then, the "just in case I get killed by the wolf tonight" part almost seems unnecessary. Almost as if you're trying really hard to divert attention from yourself.

    I find it very contradictory.

TVoR's logic was to randomly accuse anyone who expressed an opinion and dared to post multiple times a day, whilst completely ignoring those who hid in the background. Once he chose some names, he stuck with them through thick and thin, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

    He taught you well ;).

I genuinely think one of the quiet ones need to be interrogated too by the way.

And what are your suspicions based on?

Well, we can ignore it, but if one of these names in normal gameplay turns out evil, we can certainly do some investigating of the rest.
