Werewolf XVI: Day 3

Day 1 - message 1 - Says Darave is good - this must be from the wolf as we know Darave shows up as evil
Message 2 - from the seer, correctly stating cude is evil

Day 2.

Message 1 - states Miked is GOOD
Message 2 - states TVOR is good and that we should go for Darave

I can't figure out which of these is which, but if Message 2 is the seer, then why did they suggest darave (who obviously hadn't been viewed by the seer until this morning)

today's messages both tell us to vote for Darave.

This happens every game. Someone (usually TVOR) thinks they have cracked the Da Vinci code, then afterwards ends up justifying it by saying "well, they were acting really suspicious" despite the fact that they had concrete message evidence to take them in another direction.

It's pretty much the only way evil can win. If we ignore the seer, then we're pretty much screwed.

Just a note to good players - Ignore posts from Harrow Orn, Moog and Miked. They are all on the same team.

Anyone else is welcome to have a pop at me but those are the ones who will twist it all against team good. Think about it!

 

I have just voted for Darave too. Anything else is illogical and voting on a hunch and potentially reading more into a dead player's comments than may exist.

Let's nip this in the bud now. Vote Darave today and things are much clearer tomorrow. This good/evil question hangs over every player but blimey, we've spent an awful lot of time discussing just one player who must be evil or a tinker and we seem to have 60/40 (minimum) odds in our favour! Why would you save him?!

Finally someone else apart from me and Moog with some logic.

 

I was so sure about everything 2 minutes ago now I'm severely doubting myself. I hate this game.

 

I can't think of another player who'd randomly point out a player at random to lynch, as the seer.

 

Got a lot to catch up on here, am doing my best but am quite busy at work - a number of new beers to analyse pre-sale.

From what I've read so far though, I'd say you have to stick to what the seer has seen rather than guessing. If we do that, we'll either end up lynching another Evil character or we'll know who the tinker is/was. It seems like the most logical approach today. Will catch up on other theories and posts as the day goes on.

 

im happy to go with this if we have to (think its a waste) but regardless of what happens tonight or accusations that are thrown out tomorrow, if he is the tinker (which I am sure he is) then we have to go with Miked, moog or Harrow tomorrow

I would completely understand if us 3 are suspected tomorrow IF darave turns out to be good. I really want to force this point though, the seer should view miked first tomorrow. I think more evidence points towards him.

However, that is kind of the point of the messages. It's obviously bad news when you're named in one, unless, on the rare occasion, when it unequivocally clears you, but bear in mind, out of those messages, we've lynched one wolf and one goody. That's not bad going.

If we'd just gone about lynching people at random, I can say we'd be a lot worse off.

We also know at least 1 of the wolf's messages for certain (from day 1, declaring Darave as good) and today's wolf message is somewhat redundant, as the wolf has unwittingly or deliberately chosen the same person to name as evil as the seer.

Therefore we've only doubt about yesterday's messages, regarding which is which.

 

And the other 3 are from the Seer. Are you saying we're taking too much notice of the messages? It's our main source of evidence.

Also, by luck or judgement, 2 of the 5 evil characters are dead in two days. That's a very decent return so why try to persuade us to change tack?

 

I've just read through and caught up with everything. Some interesting theories going about regarding Norway being the witness. Today I'll be voting for davrave, as even though there's a decent chance he's the tinker you just cannot ignore the fact that a seer has 100% viewed him as evil. Once we find out if he was good/evil it should clear a few things up as well- and if he is evil those defending him now had better watch out!

I must say though- miked2006 has been acting suspicious in my eyes most of the game, especially recently with his constant instance that he is proven good. Seer- you know who to view tomorrow (unless you did yesterday?- not sure which message was from who).

 

Where is everybody else?

Seems the same 6/7 people posting. Would like some other people to have their say. I know some are busy, but I'm sure there's a few of you lurking in the background.

 

Also, nobody seems to have focused on the fact that cthulhu was evil, and most likely the traitor (unless he was the wolf which killed meh?- but the story does says that cthulhu was killed on the other side of the village to which meh met his demise). So it could be worth going through his posts seeing if he defended anybody or who he deflected attention away from

another one has seen the light! if you don't feel confident doing it today, vote Darave off and if he is the tinker, we will tonight know for sure whether we have the game won or not

 

What I'm saying is that there are loads out there that aren't mentioned in the anon posts that we seem to have completely forgotten about.

True but hopefully the Seer will chose his viewings carefully and other players like the masons will continue to be useful. No one is above suspicion.

 

Both today messages claim that darave is the wolf.

He needs to go today.

If he is good, I am certainly in trouble tomorrow. But I know I will not be.

 

If darave is evil, will you still think that I am the traitor?

 

if he is the tinker yes if he is a wolf then who knows.... but im pretty sure he is the tinker and you are the traitor @ Miked
