I've seen this fella a couple of times and he's scored in both games and won a penalty but in all honesty didn't really pull up any trees. He's hard to judge because he was up against very average defenders too. I suppose it all depends on what valuation they have on him. Will be interesting to see what he's really capable of during the Euros.

Hmm. He’s much better than Kaba, but hopefully more expensive. I think he is good enough to play in the PL.

it’s always difficult to tell if danish players are good enough for PL. The level of the danish Superliga is mid- to top championship. Some danish players go straight from the superliga to PL and succeed. Others fail.

Wind is a smart and strong player. He could be a success with the right players around him. However sometimes he just disappears from games.

But Wind above Kaba without a doubt.

If he has a very good Euros he might end up being out of reach for us. :(

    Thanks for the reply.

So he remains towards the top of my possibly feasible striker wish-list for us.

Yeah maybe, in which case Kaba could be all we can hope for.

We obviously have different definitions of the word hysterical. I believe we would have certainly lost Sarr if we hadn’t gone up and I doubt very much we will ever see another 5 year spell in the prem. You might disagree but I’m not sure either statements were “hysterical” However the level of worry caused by us picking up Fletcher on a free and not being linked with any big names in late May in my view borders on hysterical misery/panic but I’ve no issue if you disagree with my view :).

Nothing that has been said about Fletcher is hysterical though really!

And you definitely referenced at one point not long ago that there was no chance Sarr was staying even if we went up - whether you meant it or not is another matter! I’d say that’s just as miserable an outlook as saying Fletcher looks like a really poor signing.

"Giaretta should be shown the door."
"We have become a laughing stock."
"**** off back to Italy you useless ****"

I'd say they are pretty hysterical off the back of a FT signing in May.
Yes I'm sure I said that I didn't think Sarr would stay this summer, promotion or not. He may well go. He may stay. I may be wrong. It may be miserable but was hardly hysterical. I'm generally more pessimistic than most and am happy to be proved wrong.
Anyway I know your debating style is to be "Last man Larry" as I think Cyan once said so I'll let you have the last word and then we can leave this behind.

Strange dig there - but a little beneath you given you are normally well mannered?! It’s a friendly debate, nothing deeper! Nothing ‘last man Larry’ about it!

I can’t be bothered to search all over the thread but aren’t those comments attributed to Malts? Who quickly rowed back the next day and said he was wrong? I do agree they are silly comments even if Ashley Fletcher is an utterly bizarre signing.

I think it’s BS. We were linked with him and January and maybe we were interested then but since then every article about the guy has made sure to mention that we’ve been linked with him. I wouldn’t be surprised if he joins a Championship side though.

I refuse to give a sincere apology, when confusing him and his twin brother.

    Sorry. Not Sorry.

Scored a pretty good goal today.

7 goals in 900 minutes now for a usually low-scoring Cardiff and they've only got him on loan. Pretty similar in style to Bayo, but assuming he leaves he wouldn't be a terrible signing next season.

I wouldn't like to see Bayo even attempting that overhead kick!

Think you're being a tad harsh there - it wasn't exactly the same but his volleyed goal away at Rotherham was class and fairly athletic.
