    Well not really - Giaretta’s desk was cleared and he was back in Italy waiting to be re-tasked. He was no longer working for Watford (for a week at least!). Quite how this Lazarus story has come about since, I think leaves everyone stumped.

    So the guy that signed all this dross the last two years, acts as a spy for Gino, doesn't know how to use Instagram and basically was hounded out of Udinese for being utterly ***** has been given a second chance while the young manager got booted.

    I'm at the point where Gino has started to resemble a character in The Thick of It.
