I don’t think our current status deserves a Director of Football. Maybe we should we be content with an Executive Officer of Football. Might widen the recruitment pool.

 

How about we go a step further and instead have a Makeup Artist of Football. If the budget can stretch a bit they can be supported by a Visual Effects Editor of Football.

 

That much is clear, and I’m fine with that. I just wanted to make sure I understood your position, and the strength of it, and make sure AL knew he was publicly accused of falsifying a story. He seems sanguine, you are very sure of your position, so all seems fine.

 

I am confused, not least because Adam seems so calm about such a public accusation. As I say in my last reply, everyone is clear on their positions, so all good.

Correct on the very first part - but he’s kept out of the loop by the club now. He has no access to Gino and Duxbury actively keeps stories away from him now.

 

Contrast and compare the tone in your posts to me about the matter, to the tone in your sycophantic posts to AL.

I don’t know why you’d brown-nose - but as I say, it’s not difficult to understand how I’ve reached that conclusion.

Perhaps I am a little more confrontational to your post because I was concerned by its assertion. Irrespective of that, politeness is not the same as brown-nosing.

 

Jon, it’s bizarre.

Unless you know Adam Leventhal, why do you care? Concerned by its assertion why? Why does it ‘concern’ you to the point that you felt the need to jump over to Twitter and make a big issue of it?

AL is very aware of this forum, many of us know that…he’s well capable of coming on here and seeing what’s posted (he often does) without you running around acting weird and being some sort of social media moral compass.

Furthermore, I’ve conversed openly with AL in the recent past - if he has any truck with what I’ve said, he can contact me….he knows how.

So, I’m a little out of the loop so let me see if I’ve got this straight.

Edwards and players complain about Giaretta poking his nose in. They complain directly to Pozzo. Pozzo says he’s going to get rid of Giaretta and spreads this via trusted media sources. A week later he sacks the coach and keeps Giaretta.

Absolute Gino masterclass. Destroy the credibility of the journalist that’s earned some trust and get rid of the coach that was standing up to you as well.

 

I believe they went to Duxbury and he pulled the trigger. Duxbury has subsequently been publicly undermined by Pozzo.
