TBH they finished 3rd and ,and through gritted teeth, deserved to go up

However we shall have a period of short term pain until next season starts and
their long ball, boot it up to a couple of lumps and kick anything that moves is found
out in the Premier division as there will be bigger lumps waiting for them . And who can also play football.

Also their frugal wage policy will be under huge strain as tomorrow morning 22 agents will
be banging on the managers door demanding suitable remuneration for their client who is now
a Premier division footballer .

From an entirely neutral standpoint, getting promoted this season gives a great chance of staying up because all three of last season's teams also stayed up - got to be a second season syndrome coming for one or two of Forest, Bournemouth and Fulham.

 

A new low for Gino Pozzo. Mr Hell and Highwater fires Luton into the PL the same season he sacks him (with a squad of cloggers).

I get that, it is sickening but last 10 years isn’t equal to PNE as you have to differentiate between ancient and recent history. Luton getting promoted on a one off hurts but Luton staying there and BETTERING anything we achieved there is what will truly hurt.

 

Well deserved Rob Edwards. Good bloke and didn’t deserve the disgraceful treatment from our idiotic owner.

 

I'd be shocked if Fulham went down next season, they've been very comfortable all season, Forest took a while to get going with their 30 new players but they did look better in the second half of the season so I'd expect them to stabilise and carry on their decent form this from calendar year, Bournemouth might struggle, but again, they ended up staying up fairly comfortably this season so might do so again next season. The team that stays up in 17th this season would be the obvious candidate to go down, especially if it's Everton and they get into FFP trouble. Regardless, I'd expect that lot not to go crazy in the window and be in a good place whenever they do end up coming down, time for us to get our arses in gear

 

Seeing their disgusting mutant fans celebrating was one of the most soul-destroying moments of my life. A dark day for football.

 

Congrats to Luton. Proper football club getting promoted without parachute money. Got a feeling they could stay a few seasons with there small pitch and long balls.

 

Quite possibly the lowest quality Championship playoff final ive ever seen and that includes the crap against Palace. Either of those two will be nowhere near capable of staying up next season. That lot will pocket the money and get the Kohler dome under way. Derby's record will be under threat next season unless they replace pretty much every player that played today. Total sh*te!!!

Not too bothered about Everton but I don't know about others but Brentford making Europe tomorrow would do it.

Not because I have anything against Brentford, but it would just accentuate how well their club (and Brighton) is run and how badly ours is by comparison.

 

It would be great watching Everton slum it for a few seasons. The wailing, gnashing of teeth, and righteous self-pity coming out of that corner of the North-West would be legendary and everyone else would laugh until their sides split.

I would absolutely love to see Everton come down and the misery it would cause for what must be one of the most entitled 'we're one of the big 7' fan bases.

I’ve tried to support Watford but given todays events and the sex scandals (ssshhh Luther) I’ve decided to switch to Luton.

 

Suspect we might well still be at the start of our bad spell and it's going to get an awful lot worse...

Don't think it's that unlikely that we won't finish above them for the next ten years or so.
