A few Achilles injuries at the moment, possibly from a change of intensity in training from a more placid tempo to a more intense one?
He's spotted playing ludo and it is a well known fact you can't play ludo if you have done your Achilles.
So that means Okoye gets a warm welcome as our new #1 when Hull turn up at the Vic first game after the break. Let's hope it's not a baptism of fire - he was a bit on the crap side in the League Cup game but so was most of the team then.
They posted a picture earlier of him on a bike cycling around. He's probably caught a nasty case of the Foster's.
Sure he said this last season or earlier this season as well .. https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...-angry-watford-fans-another-away-day-debacle/
He is seemingly the squad spokesman each time they have one of these collapses in effort and performance levels. He has spouted the same stuff so many times this season it is probably best if he just keeps quiet from now on. It is tiresome, hollow nonsense.
True but he has the balls to speak about it. Again something is wrong, attitude wise amongst the squad.
He has a template. Inserts the name of the latest team we've donated a couple of goals/three points to and then spouts the same drivel.
Bit like when we win . The usual footballing cliches trot out. And we know what will happen on Saturday now he has called others out!
Guy has dome research on various comments made after defeats . https://mobile.twitter.com/OldWatford/status/1620010108616081409
A handy aid, similar to that which teachers use for their pupils at report time. Only difference being here there are no encouraging aphorisms. "Tends not to listen in class". "Has worked hard on their arithmetic/spelling/basket weaving delete as appropriate. " Contributes well in class". "Take up swimming" no, wait, that's one of mine!
The list is actually code. It's what the WFC media put into their AI algorithm. It comes back with the player's name and a handy phrase, then they post in on the official webpage.
Reads like they all going on the same media handling course... which is probably not far from the truth.
We have a keeper who cannot kick a ball properly. His short passes are often to the wrong foot and wildly inaccurate would actually be an upgrade on his long kicking, it's pathetic. We know he's crap in the air, he used to have shot stopping nailed but he's even started making **** ups with routine stops now. It's clear the players have absolutely no faith in his kicking anymore, I'm surprised we didn't try for a keeper last month.
