I'm hoping Amrabat stays. With Janmaat signing in guessing it's goodbye Nyom and Paredes. Goodbye Djedje on loan to Udinese and hello bench for Zuniga. The way Amrabat has been playing the RWB position should be between him and this donkey we are about to sign for £7.5mil
Was he the one that looked decent and caused us problems in their home game against us? If it was him he got at least 4/5 decent crosses into the box and looked to be about the only decent player they had. I could be confusing him with winjaldum (sp) who if IIRC was their only other decent player and who Liverpool signed for a lot more?
no idea if this *** is any good or not, but I am confused why we are looking at this position when we are crying out for a striker.
Thomas Clements @t_clements BREAKING: Daryl Janmaat has broken down in his medical with #WatfordFC. Trying to find out exact details - more as I get it. #NUFC https://twitter.com/t_clements/status/768415674674909184
The new Charter Place plans are just too beautiful for words. I cried when I saw them so it's no surprise a pro footballer would too.
He does seem like a nobody, doesn't he. Who said I believed the tweet? I certainly didn't, and don't believe it for the above reasons. I just c&p'd it as it might be of interest to other fans.
WD Sport are claiming he's actually signed, so someone is telling porkies here. My guess it's Tommy. http://www.wdsport.co.uk/2015/07/live-rolling-hornets-news-bites/
Replace Howzat with Janmaat in the chorus...there's your chant. [YT]NPplyr0f99A[/YT] You are permitted to express your thanks.
Proof if we needed it that signing for Watford can be an emotional experience! I hope he's managed to pull himself together now Welcome to Watford Daryl
Sorry - I thought I saw confirmation on Watford' official twitter account - turned out it was a fans one. Nonetheless, looks imminent.
Daily Snail say done deal http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3756469/Daryl-Janmaat-joins-Watford-four-year-contract-completing-7m-switch-Newcastle.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490 there's a good article on the new bloke here.. http://tbrfootball.com/why-newcastles-daryl-janmaat-is-a-perfect-fit-for-walter-mazzarris-watford/
Agree - this is good and will suit the new style of play. Never played in right position at Newcastle
10 assists in two seasons in a struggling side. Will be perfect in a 3-5-2 Just watch him set up goals with his quality crossing.
Yes - as long as we have fit, nimble, athletic, on form and speedy forwards he should set up a few. Oh dear !
