And there's a good chance he'd still likely be wrong. I would imagine about 1% of us on here have actually seen Dja Djedje play (me included) and thus are able to judge him in comparison to Janmaat, and Amrabat has had TWO decent games as a right wing back, not a whole season or more.
Excellent, excellent signing ... He's a wingback/attacking fullback that can go either way and can actually cross with venom. No doubt he'll still get booed for not being Doyley.
Despise is a strong word for Watford fans, very rarely do we despise players even when they are as rubbish as Nyom, Paredes or Anya. Ellilump was the last I can think of.
Yea I thought the same. Remarkably similar goals. This one was a bit further out but I reckon Gueds hit his harder.
Appearing Gueds' main tactic is 'Hit it hard as possible vaguely in the general direction of a goal' they're fairly accurate!
I would suggest that our club has been remarkably free from truly despicable players over the years. Lots of crap ones, for sure, but not many out-and-out gits. Yes, probably Ellingphant. Connolly was pretty unpleasant. Keith Andrews wasn't very likable. Can't think of many though.
And rightly so. Anyone preventing Lord Doyley from being able to ply his trade and feed his family is clearly closely related to Satan himself.
It should have been retired and Janmaat should have had the common ****ing decency to know what that shirt means. I was excited about his signing, now I hate the ****.
Decent article with an interview with Janmaat trying very hard not to say we are better set up than Newcastle even though reading between the lines he thinks we are... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...-feel-bad-for-leaving-newcastle-to-join-watf/
Now out for 2 to 3 weeks with the shoulder injury he came off with. A shame - he'd been doing really well and has a tremendous cross on him. Still, we have a very capable replacement in Amrabat, although I would say he's not quite as good defensively as Janmaat.
Nowhere near however with Burnley, Muff and Boro on the horizon that might actually turn out for the good.
Yes, I'd rather have Janmaat when playing the better sides in this league but Amrabat would be capable enough for Burnley and Bournemouth, then it's international break.
