Flaws? Come on, in goalkeeping terms his flaws are major.
Every Keeper should absolutely command the 6 yd box and the majority of the 18yd area. Bachmann does not do this and it there for all to see.
You cannot coach this out of him.

 

Surely it would be best to use a rate that was current and contemporary rather than an ex rate that is no longer a rate.

I did tell the members on here to read the Sparta fans forum and read what the Nigerian media had to say about Okoye.
The response was "It's all rubbish".
Okoye may come good, but he has joined with the view of being the 1st choice. Yet, he can't even dislodge a keeper who was publicly seeking a move out of Vicarage Road last January.
It's just fun to be a Watford fan.

You banged on about his mental heath. This you claimed l was critical of. This is not so.
You will not coach his flaws out of him. If that were possible, how come Watford coaching staff have failed to do so ?
He doesn't want to come off his line. Why? You will have to ask Bachmann himself.

I’m more concerned that in 2022 we still have 3 starting defenders of the back 4 that started in the 2018 season. Femenia is leaving, but the fact Kabasele and Cathcart are still around and in the first team picture shows that a) they are crap and no other team wants them and b) the recruitment has been absolutely dire the past 4 years, including 2 relegations

Obviously he has his issues and Edwards prefers Bachmann. But this idea that he was awful at Sparta Rotterdam is rubbish. As is the crap you said about him loving himself because he has a nice car or whatever.

I agree that Bachman in goal in the Champ is fine, but the point remains, we spent millions last season on players who played little-no part in helping us stay up, when we had glaring issues in our 11.
