At the moment, what would your starting XI and formation etc be? With my limited knowledge due to not actually watching many games, this is mine, Okoye Cathcart Samir Sierralta Ngakia Louza. Kamara Kayembe Sarr Pedro Bayo An attacking formation with plenty of speed and danger. Maybe not the best defence wise, but solid enough for the Champioship Maybe? Thanks E8 Hornet for the current squad list, which may help you. I understand players will come and go, so what is your initial starting XI Maduka Okoye GK Vincent Angelini GK Pontus Dahlberg GK Kiko Femenia RB Hassane Kamara LB Adam Masina LB Cristian Kabasele CB Francisco Sierralta CB Samir CB Edo Kayembe MF Imran Louza MF Ken Sema MF Yaser Asprilla MF Samuel Kalu RW Ismaila Sarr RW Vakoun Bayo FW Emmanuel Dennis FW Adalberto Penaranda FW Dapo Mebude FW Joao Pedro FW Home Grown (currently 13 – so 33 in total) Daniel Bachmann GK Jeremy Ngakia RB James Morris LB Craig Cathcart CB William Troost-Ekong CB Mattie Pollock CB Tom Dele-Bashiru MF Dan Gosling MF Tom Cleverley MF Domingos Quina MF Joseph Hungbo RW Kwadwo Baah LW Ashley Fletcher FW Possible Extras / Unknowns Pussetto Manning Rose Andrews Forde Cukur Holding Mckiernan Adeyemo Blake
Was in the crowd when we beat their national team on tour in the 80s, he might be gunning for revenge if we're up for booking another match against an authoritarian regime

Assume many have heard the absurd story about a young Jinping seeing the Chinese national side getting thrashed 5-1 by a touring Watford team in the 1980s. Apparently drove his desire to try to improve Chinese football.
Also spurred him to ensure every single nuke in their growing arsenal is pointed directly at the Vic.
Okoye Kabasele - The Bloke from Chile - Samir Hungbo - Gosling - Kayembe - Kamara Pedro Sarr - Dennis 3-4-1-2
This is the team I think will start against Sheffield Utd based upon todays friendly Bachamann Kabasele Sierralta Cathcart Kamara Kayemebe Cleverly Sema Sarr Pedro Dennis
So in the year we got relegated by doing things on the cheap we spent over £5m on a keeper who isn't as good as our number two from last season? Another example of terrible recruitment and wasted finances from the club. I hate to say I told you so but...
To me it makes sense to start the season with experience in goal, rather than a debutant. One less thing to worry about. I’d also hope we have a season with really good competition for the role of main keeper. Okoye’s time will come for sure. But he’s still relatively young. I wonder if Hamer starts on the bench next week, to free up a homegrown spot in the matchday squad?
I think it's a valid point. We've dropped a level and this guy still can't get ahead of Bachmann. People would say exactly the same about an outfield player. For example, say Cleverley starts ahead of Kayembe, why did we spend money on a guy who can't even start ahead of Cleverley in a lesser division when finances are tight?
There are probably things regarding the club and the owner where criticism is completely subjective, but this is pretty black and white and I think most would struggle to see anything positive in it. It’s yet another case of Gino seeing imaginary pound signs way off in the future, and ignoring glaring issues in the here and now resulting in a far greater cost than the imaginary pound signs would’ve ever made him.
