I know they're hilariously biased at times, but hopefully they're a long way away from showing fabricated CGI footage of things that just didn't happen.

Pogba's shot against the bar, and a nice one-two involving Ibrahima***** were the only things any highlights show needed to show from a Man Utd perspective.

BT are a dismal outfit,I have not signed up for their package and doubt I ever will.

As BRLR said why anyone would hire Paul Scholes is beyond me. He is the spectre at the feast and it would be better to have one of Michael Owen's horses than him!

Wow, never have I been so delighted to be so wrong. I actually did end up watching from about 5 minutes before Zuniga's goal, it was so exciting. Well played Watford, some really fantastic football coming out of Vicarage all of a sudden.

Clearly, my permanent optimism and sunny disposition really buoy the team from afar. You're all very welcome.

Superb performance and great win. A few observations -
    1) Look how many players we get in the opposition penalty area. This is why we cause teams problems and why others are scoring and not just the front 2. yes we will concede more than we did last year but we will score a lot more. Teams cant seem to cope with our movement and incisive passing.
    2) In the last 2 games the issue of fitness has been banished. We have kept going and got the wins.
    3) Team spirit, look when we scored the second even the subs joined in the celebrations. You can tell the players are enjoying it, Capoue has a smile on his face all the time. Pereya is superb and was the missing link. Dare I say it but Utd looked like they needed someone like him. He keeps it simple until the final 3rd where he seems to have the nous to pick out a pass that creates something. The way he wandered in and set up the second was a thing of beauty.
    4) Walter knows a hell of a lot more about footy than me, I like most was screaming why Zuniga and not Success...sorry Walter you ignore me...
    5) seeing the pure joy it brought to my kids (it was only my 5 year old daughters 3rd game) was worth all the horrible performances/results over the years. My son like his Dad has been buzzing for days. Even the teacher at school asked all the class if the enjoyed the result.
    6) Even if we finish in 13th like we did last year it will be much more entertaining. Wonder if that was part of Walter's brief? although play like we have done and we will be in the top half.
    7) Finally shows all the results and performances in pre season mean nothing once the real action starts..

I'm sorry, but I can take no pleasure in this performance, after still being so embarrassed about our early Carling Cup exit.

I get Bt sport for free as I've got Bt broadband although I choose to pay £3 for the HD channels.

I must admit I thought it odd that BT had Scholes and Macmanam as pundits, Scholes a die hard Man Utd fan, and Macmanaman a player with no links or no clue about Watford. Generally Sky and BBC certainly always have a more balanced panel.

    Glenn Hoddle is generally unbalanced.

  14. It was the abchor that got me going. Scholes and Macnamanamanaman both saying no foul was fair decision, but JH getting all indignant and citing MU social media claims it was a foul. He was a *** of the highest order and when the ref expert put him down it was magnificent. Worth the subs just for that.

And absolutely desperate for Howard Webb to contribute to the controversy. It pretty much went like this (some artistic licence used):

    "It's a hard tackle, but it's a fair tackle."

"But it's excessive force isn't it Howard. He goes through the player first."

"Doesn't matter Jake, pipe down you whining mug"

Clearly ball first, man second ... IMO it wouldn't be a penalty if it was a defender clearing our box but anywhere else on the pitch I'd say it was excessive.

.... Ah well, what do I know? :)

He's a plastic Man Utd fan from Crawley, he was always going to be biased there. Still it was wonderful to see Howard Webb just put him in his place with that whole exchange.

Deeney's a legend forever more, he drives a lambo and he always scores, Leicester tried to take him away, but he said f*** off I wanna stay

    Hoddle drives me batty sometimes.

"Get in front of them defenders", or "Cut out them crosses". The word is "those" Hoddle you moron. And stick your "early doors" up your fundament as well.

You could also base a drinking game around the amount of times he starts a sentence by saying "very much so" you'd be having your stomach pumped by half time.

Aww Glenn's alright really ... despite his idiosyncrasies he seems to be the only pundit that actually knows how football is played.

John Marks is brilliant. It's only when you see his commentary matched with the pictures that you appreciate how good he is at describing the action and what a great radio commentator he is. Some of his descriptions of key moments in our recent history make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

Was walking through Rockport, Massachusets this afternoon with my wife, sister and brother in law. We crossed the road at a crossing and thanked the driver for stopping. As we walked away the driver wound down his window and shouted "Hey buddy is that a Watford badge tattooed on your leg". We confirmed to him that it was, to which he replied "Bloody great result Sunday, made my day" and then drove off!!

He seemed well pleased we'd won. Rockport is not that big a place.

Fortunately Fleet Street's media monopoly has waned, Spurs was always the team you had to support to 'get on' in the industry.

However you're still right, losing our 'Plucky Bournemouth Watford' tag is not far away and we will soon be the theme of much jealousy, t'internet included.

At least we've been easy on them this time with a midtable finish and not 2nd straight away

Having re-watched the game I think Man Utd will be fine this season.

If they keep playing like that I cant see them being sucked into a relegation battle . Games like this are a free hit for them, its the 6 pointers against your Hulls, Burnleys and Bournemouths they need to be concentrating all their energies on.

Good luck to them, hopefully for them we ll still be playing them next season.

if we do start beating the top teams regularly I would think the line from the media would be a macrocosm of the usual line when we beat one of them "United didn't play well." It will become the top teams aren't good enough any more not us being any good. Itll all be about the poor standard of the premier league. They'll link this to the national team being poor and blame us for that with all our foreigners. All the rehashed stuff about money laundering and cheating the rules will then resurface.

Apparently it was all a dream!

According to Conor McNamara on 5L just after 7pm,"Manchester United make 5 changes from the side that lost on Sunday at Vicarage Road to Norwich."

    Ah well,never mind!
