I seem to remember Mr Bailey’s winning the 2000 Guineas thirty-odd years back. Rather have him in the team than his namesake, even in his present state.
That's probably our best lineup possible (maybe Chalobah in for Hughes). If we weren't playing Liverpool we I would be confident that we'll win
At least Sarr is back for the lazy coward Pereyra and we can also actually select a right back. Liverpool’s front 3 and full backs will have a field day though. 0-3.
Having my hair cut. Will be watching in the pub at about 5:20. Expect us to be 2-0 down. I’ll Leave at half time disgusted
Femenia and Sarr starting for us, Lovren starting for them (and Hendo missing), means getting something is not impossible. Liverpool's bench looking unusually weak, so we need to make sure we weather any early storm. Pussetto on our bench seems a bit pointless. Mariappa must be really in the doghouse to not be in the squad. Don't expect us to win, but I'll hope for a 1-1 draw.
Must hope we don't get humiliated, then again, I can't see why we can't win... 3-1. Two sending offs for Liverpool
Kiko off injured before half time, second half Sarr will lose a limb. 8-3 to the mighty Orns, Cathcart hatrick.
I just noticed that Liverpool will break the record for most consecutive wins if they win today, so considering our form with being on the receiving end of terrible records we actually have no chance.
