Entertaining first half I thought, both teams playing to win, spells of attacking intent first half. Troy’s link up play is good and midfield working hard. Pereyra probably the one underperforming slightly
As I said in the shoutbox, terrible game management from Gracia taking off Deulofeu for Gray. Gray is **** and will never score never ever ever again.
Need to get Pereyra and Deulofeu more involved in matches. Deeney showing that he is just more than a striker. Foster wonderful as ever. Jonathan Moss showing us once again he is an incompetent twit (including our offside opener). Great determination and spirit to battle back to a win with Leicester getting on top as the second half wore on. Still rather disappointed with our counters. Didnt deserve that win. Andre Gray quality finish. Deeney was in Deeney mode, liverpool would have knocked in another 5. Leicester were awful, they clearly didnt know the formation or each others roles for at least 45 minutes. Rodgers never won his first game at his new clubs. Stick that you greedy ****.
Well that was out the blue (Gray) . Cannot say we deserved that as such but it's 3 points and nice finish . Thought we put ourselves under pressure a lot probably not helped by ref being anti Troy and a few bookings .
The promising thing is that now we have someone who can come on and change a game at times. I remember when subs came on earlier in the season it was chin on ground time. And if he did start we got the option of Delefoo coming on as a sub against tired defenders. Though despite the winners Gracia will always prefer Delefoo coz he don't adapt his starting lineups. Gray's first touch for the goal today was top drawer.
