We'll start with that, and at 5-0 he'll bring on himself, Derek Payne and Sean Murray just to take the ****.
I don't think we'll need to tick all those boxes. If we can beat Ipswich we can afford to lose a couple of games between now and the end of the season, IMO. It would be great if we can get 8 points out of those four games, and in fact, I'd pretty much say that would guarantee us the championship by some margin.
What an absolutely huge game this is. I'm excited and nervous in even amounts. My main fear is that we'll struggle to break down a solid and well prepared team without Abdi on the field, leaving ourselves open to a devastating counter. Win, and I'll really start to believe.
I dont think I can remember seeing a match poll so heavily in favour of a Watford win. Very worrying! :dismay:
We're on our best run of the season (in terms of win ratio, before anybody points out we went 10 unbeaten earlier), we're meeting every challenge, we're confident, we're relaxed but determined, we're top of the league and going to stay or thereabouts. It's about us now, it's not about worrying about our opponents. We'll be fine. Home win.
I'm looking forward to this. A win will put a hole in their play-off ambitions and help keep them in the lower divisions where they belong.
I strongly feel that Fessi is good enough to fill the massive hole left by Abdi's absence. He's been unstoppable the last two games and playing behind the two strikers suits him perfectly. Man of the match against Reading and changed the game against Wigan, playing a huge part in both goals. He HAS to start Saturday for me.
Thread: Joker to be sacked? by Cassetti's Beard Replies How negative some of us were back then! haha Pot calling the kettle
Can see Joka, once again, going for the land of the giants, in defence: Gomes Cathcart Ekstrand Angella Hoban Tozser Watson Guedioura Forestieri Deeney Ighalo Subs: Bond, Connolly, Motta, Anya, Munari, Layun, Vydra
But his presence is only made possible by having Watson and Guediora in Midfield. If he can just float around without too much responsibility, he will cause some havoc. No Almen, No Cry.
No matter what the result between 'Borough and 'Muff tomorrow we can extend the gap between us and 3rd place with a win and that has to be a huge incentive. Personally I'm hoping Middlesbrough sneak a 1-0 win and we give Ipswich a good pasting, staying top and opening up a five point gap on 3rd place, which would be a massive, massive deal.
Truth be told, I'd forgotten about Fessi, but only because you're never sure which one is going to show up. Abdi can always be relied on. I agree though, if the right Fessi shows up, we'll probably be just fine.
It's funny that if you look through the #watfordfc hashtag you see people moaning that we're on the FLS and D'urso is ref as being 'bad omens'. If you look on the #ITFC hashtag you see the exact same moans.
I hope the people who are ****ting themselves about tomorrow don't have that mindset after we kick off. It'll only help create a nervous atmosphere which isn't helpful. Where's the positivity??
Being a plastic and all that....only just decided to buy a ticket. What decided me was thinking of that game where Ip**** thought they had won and their guy was doing a strange zombie dance....

Agreed that with the two workers behind him in Gdora and Watson he has the licence to roam around. Without them two protecting the defence it'd be a lot harder for Fessi. Ah man the balance of this squad is SO good. What we've been crying out for since Zola's last few games.

I was worried about tomorow as I have been for the last few. Worried that we would come a cropper against a team with more hunger, a team that wanted it more, a team with more pride, and passion. Then I realised that we have become that team. I honestly dont think I could have more faith in this team than I have now. Lose tomomorow, doesnt matter we'll go and beat Derby, and Boro. No nerves please, enjoy the next 8 games. It may be some time before were back around these teams for quite sometime!
Saw this on the Ipswich forum: http://www.windrawwin.com/predictionsnew.asp?l=DIV1&i=329979 Puts us down as banker for a 2-0 win.
I'm worried, usually the opposition are over confident, but this lot are resigned to defeat so anything is a bonus.
The last three game's I've been to have been 7-2 v Blackpool, 3-2 v Leeds and 4-1 v Reading. Hoping for more of the same - a nice 3-1 win would get my Easter break off to a great start.
I'm genuinely not nervous yet. What will be a killer is the ****ing international break. Hold on, I've just remembered it means Prof Almen will probably be back for Derby, forget that.
