Don't think it particularly matters as we have two weeks to drive sales and sell it out (which I'm not sure we will do anyway), but I think it's up to the club.

 

Just checked their official site and yes tickets went on sale this morning. I don't mind waiting a few extra days as it's given our group time to decide who's going and what price to pay. Palace fans have had no time at all to organise anything.

It'll be a tough game but we can play on another level to every other team in this division.

 

Another note, the PER TICKET transaction fee from Ticketmaster is outrageous, £2.50 per ticket on top, the group I'm in just put an order in for 121 tickets, so that's an additional £302.50 for next to no reason, ridiculous.

If it's to cover the cost of something, then it should already be covered in the extortionate prices already.

I was hoping that we would get Palace instead of Brighton think Brightom would have been more dangerous on the big Wembley pitch with their playing style. I think with the space that there is on the pitch at Wembley and it being like a bowling green will suit us brilliantly and what a time for Vydra to start scoring again.

 

Sure I read somewhere, that Dobbie's loan deal expires before the final - so he could have only played for Brighton in the final.

 

Dobbie is listed as on loan until the end of the season. What constitutes the end of the season though; when the league campaign ends, or when the team he's on loan to finishes?

Why did Brighton loan their closest rivals a decent player anyway? Is it just me that finds that a bit odd? Maybe understandable if Brighton were in the top 6 and Palace were struggling down the bottom, but Palace and Brighton have been pretty close to each other all season! Would that not be like Arsenal loaning Spurs a player?

 

If Palace make an offer saying we'll loan him then buy him for £X at the end of it, which they are, then why not?

 

In the last three games we have conceded four goals. Two were down to goalkeeping errors from an unlucky, young and inexperienced goalkeeper. The other two were headers from set pieces. I do not remember to many clear cut chances for Leicester or Leeds other than those, whereas we did create numerous chances from play. With Almunia back, you would hope the goalkeeping errors can be minimised. The chances from set play are a concern. Do we need Hall in there to win the headers? If so, who would lose out? Doyley would seem most likely? Bring him on to shore up the defence in the final 15 minutes when we are three up.

 

Wasn't aware of that. Still find it a little odd, surely make them buy him in January or leave it till the end of the season.

Slightly different scenario back then. Yesterday they announced their new signing, a goalkeeper from East Thurrock Utd.

 

Nice to know there are still players out their prepared to move to small time outfits with a lower reputation just for the chance of first team football.
