Useless player, would never have done anything in the Champo. No experience.
Find it mad how him and Estupinan actually did pull on the shirt in pre-season, just to tease us that they might just have stayed sigh
I'm jealous that they have a manager who believes that scoring goals is an important part of the game, not just an irrelevant by-product of achieving 70% possession.
The journey that some forum members went on from was really quite something: he's going to fire us to promotion ----> he's not going to sign for Granada, Pozzo will hold firm ----> we might have to sell him but we'll get £20m+ and strengthen the team ----> ok, £8m isn't great but he's completely unproven and would probably be rubbish in the Championship.
A particular highlight was, of course, when his agent suggested he was going to sign for Granada a few weeks before it happened and certain people rubbishing this and those who were discussing it, then when it happened refusing to accept that they'd been wrong.
Anyone know why Deulofeu was subbed only 7 or 8 mins after coming on for Udinese last night?
I assume an injury, but wondering how bad. He is still our player after all.
See the Deulofeu thread. Apparently a nasty knee injury :-(
GD looks happy enough here celebrating Christmas .
Metatarsal I think. Beckham injury.
Will they sell Rodrigo De Paul? Leeds apparently preparing a 40 million pound bid and according to some sources Liverpool are also interested.
Pussetto out for the season with an ACL injury as well which will be a blow as he's (somehow) their top scorer this season.
Can we send them Gray?
They'd send him back!
So even when away with Udinese 2 of our players have managed to get injured!?
Not if we write no backseys into the contract
You know the old saying, you can take a man out of Watford, but...
Maybe we can send Gray there ?!
If he doesn’t have to move much he might be ok.
To be fair the only thing he is good at is running.
Could we sell him to GB Athletics?
Not too late for Tokyo 2020/1/2/3/4...
They are looking in real danger of going down this season. They battered Sampdoria tonight but lost again, no wins in 7 now.
Wow, four losses and two draws in the last six games, and they're not even the worst form team in the league. Madness.
Their next two games are Atalanta and Inter so will more than likely be very close to the relegation zone within the couple couple of weeks if not in it.
I can't really work out what the connotations would be of the Pozzo having both teams relegated and in the second division (results of our own season pending, but pending in a slightly unlikely fashion...). Will it jolt them awake? Will it cost them even more and leave them even less prepared to invest? Will they **** off? The possibilities are endless...
Gino is going to revert back to his tried and trusted method of getting rid of the head coach and hope that solves the problem.
Also makes you wonder where they would be if we hadn’t got relegated? Would they have got Gerry, Bobby and Pusseto? As a minimum they wouldn’t have got Gerry.
I suppose it's more likely that Udinese going down would be something of a disaster for us, but I do wonder, would we be able to nab any of their current players who wouldn't want to be seen dead in Serie B? Would we want/need any of their current first XI that we haven't unloaded on them?
I wonder how many players have been relegated in consecutive seasons with 2 different clubs?
Few of our lads might be added to that list...
