The back page of tomorrow's Daily Star says that Arsenal want him. I have given it the prefix that I felt suited it http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/fo...-Watford-Troy-Deeney-Premier-League-Exclusive
A few silly season-sites have reported Wengers supposedly intrests. But nay i say. Feels like RUBBISH
Does anyone know what the Italian websites are saying about this? Don't wait for the translation, answer me now.
Deeney would bring a bit of personality and grit to Arsenal. Who would you want to rely on to win you something Walcott or Deeney?
Suspect they will look for somebody a bit more proven than Troy at the top level - if they go for any striker at all.
I think they'd have to offer Deeney 20k or more on top of what he already earns to tempt him away. He realises if it weren't for this club he'd have lost everything and probably ended up a warehouse worker playing for Tamworth on weekends. Would Arsenal match 80k per week on him?

As much as I love TD, I think if this were true he might just go for it, and who would blame him to be fair?
Here if anyone wants the article: http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/fo...-Watford-Troy-Deeney-Premier-League-Exclusive If it turns out to be true and he does go, fair play to him!
Don't know what everyone else means when they post it, but when I post it, it's my way of saying I think that something is absolute BS.
I gained more useful information when I looked at what I'd left behind in the toilet the other day than reading the Daily Star.
to be fair - with Ranegie and Uche back - will Troy get many games - if he wants first team football maybe it is time to move on?
Ha, I'd be very disappointed if I was an Arsenal fan if this became reality, especially considering he'd cost them 15-20 million.
Would be funny if this happens to see everyone have a mass melt down...if he left who would run the club? We are doomed
heartbeat and soul of the club according to QSF ,if so that is going to cost the gunners a lot more than 20million quid . it might help his chances of getting an England cap though .
If I were Troy, I'd leave to play for Arsenal. Contrary to what some folk believe, he doesn't owe us anything. He'd be on more money. He'd have a great chance in getting a championship medal at the end of the season and his chances to play for England would increase. I'd sooner Troy went this January rather than in the summer. This way, we try and solve the issue of life without Troy, bagging the three wins to stay up, then kick on ready next season. I think we've got to be realistic, Troy will leave us sooner or later. God! It's like One Direction all over again.:sad1::sad1::sad1::sad1:
No one would begrudge Troy leaving if this move was actually real I'd be delighted for him personally
I think he's more than repaid whatever debt he owed us. If it's true (which I very much doubt) and he goes, good luck to him
