Transfer Deadline Day.............

A lot of people in the media over-hype Transfer Deadline Day, and a lot of fans of clubs seem to get disappointed if their team doesn't do a lot of business as the clock ticks towards 11pm. I felt a little bit the same on Monday.

BUT, Transfer Deadline Day is the only the final day of the much longer transfer window, and I think that overall we've had a very good one, similiar in a way to Man City who did the majority of their business early and weren't scrambling around in the final few hours. I'd have liked another defensive midfielder, though I remain confident we'll get one next week when the loan window opens and the PL clubs do their squad lists. I also regret the departures of Hogg and Assombalomba, though I understand why both happened.

 

I can't believe they signed Kranjcar, he's un-fracking-believably good. Bar stewards.

 

A friend of mine works for a stat tracking company, tends to get stuck with Eastern European leagues and apparently he's lost even more pace than what he didn't have already so don't count your cards.

Can't believe we signed Abdi, Fabbrini, Angella, Anya, Ekstrand, etc ........ They are un-fracking believably better!

 

Whilst I would like to believe this, we all know Kranjcar can do a job in the Premiership and he is good. The player you listed are also good players but I'd say Kranjcar has the edge of the majority of them currently as he knows what to expect from English football and has worked with Redknapp previously. It was a top signing for them but so are our players.

 

Krancjar is quality no doubt .

However he hardly featured for dynamo Kiev last season and obviously isn't their plans for this season otherwise they wouldn't be loaning him out .

I'm hoping these are signs of a player who is on the decline
