In such an event, production of the TV series is planned to immediately shut down for at least a week. I assume this means everything shutting down for at least a week and no "This Is Spinal Tap" on BBC4 later this evening.
Period of national mourning declared A period of national mourning has begun and is set to last until the funeral, which is expected to take place 10 days after the Queen's death. Major sporting events, including football and cricket matches, could now be postponed as a mark of respect. Flags will fly at half-mast at Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament and buildings across the country, while books of condolences will be placed in town halls so that people can pay their own tributes to the Queen.

Why do the hard working people of this country, off the back of Covid and with inflation and rocketing bills, have to go without entertainment and opportunities to socialise like normal TV programming and sporting events?
I think I am literally the only person in the country who had the full “shock effect” of the announcement of the Queen’s death. I’ve been out all day and hadn’t had any chance to look at the news today until I turned the TV on, just as the official announcement was made.
Mourning is the act of sorrow. Wouldn't be right to be enjoying ourselves too much I wouldn't have thought.

They said 10 days after her death as I understand it, which makes it a Sunday. So Monday if Sunday funeral doesn't happen.
