It’s a funny old season, Man City the 9th team to go top and West Ham 4th?

I know Newcastle are getting this new coach in, but Bruce with his 5th defeat on the spin, not many managers survive a run like that.

Newcastle fans all want Rafa back don't they?

    Never taken to Bruce really.

Not the first time they have had a rule change mid season .

    Villa looking good again.

I doubt had we stayed up we’d be going as well !

I've not really followed the Premier League that much this season, but I've just looked at the table. The bottom three probably wont reach 30 points this season. It would have been a doddle to have stayed up this season.

West Ham are on 35 points already!!

What a major f*ck up last season was. It will take us years to get us back to where we were even if we go up this season. A major rebuild will be needed if we are to survive.

    Big coupon buster!

Man City must be favorites to win the league.

Big blow to Derby’s hopes of losing their ‘worst-ever’ tag.

I have considered your statement whilst eating my breakfast.
I have concluded that you are indeed correct.
He reminds me of the young girls who went to Bisham Abbey in the early 1990s as part of the LTA elite "School".
They all looked as miserable as sin, although in their defence they were only 12 and weren't being paid millions of pounds.
    I don't think he's ever smiled.

I think he might have smirked when he got his move to link back up with the Snake.

He has, as my dear old Grandad would say, a face like a smashed crab.

He must have had at least five tantrums during the game last night. Beating the ground and wailing isn’t a good look for any adult.

Again to quote my grandad; ‘Pull your bottom lip in sunshine or a bird will **** on it’.

Sounds like Kairo, one of the toddlers I had at 10am. He was covered in flour ( best not ask!) was Chas?
Was your grandad poet laureate at any time?

Mr IBB says that Roy will step aside/be removed and Lampard will replace him at the end of the season, sooner if Palace continue to slide.

An in-law of mine is a Palace fan and knows one of the chairman, they've been courting Dyche for ages. If he doesn't go there in the summer i'd be very surprised.

    Interesting.
Mr IBB's source is well connected too and,Filbert take note with your fox ears, is good friends with Claude "Inspector Clouseau" Puel.
It makes sense for Lampard with Palace. FL will not have to move, the club are trying to lower their squad age ( not difficult as Noah would be a youth team player at Smellhurst) and Hodgson could move to an advisory role.
Dyche MAY now get some cash to spend at Burnley with new the new owner.
Here endeth the case for Lampard.

I’m still having counselling to get over having to watch Puel football. I’d thank you to never mention him again.

The thing with this is every single footballer has an immaculate haircut, week in week out. So they’re either all married to professional hairdressers, or they’re all doing it anyway. He’s just the only one thick enough to publicise it.

Shame Charlie Austin still isn’t at Southampton.

Wonder what he would think of VAR now ?

Craig Dawson has been really good for Spam so far. Good challenges and setting up a few attacks. Can we get that Dawson back when he does?

Was speaking to my wife about this who is a hairdresser .
The basic cuts or clippered hair do's are not the giveaway someone with minimum training maybe able . It is the weaves and knots, fades blah blah that cannot be done by a novice that shows the piss taking from these players.

    Dawson has scored again.

    Only a consolation mind you.

Looks like it will be back to Liverpool and Man City at the top.

How sad has the PL become when for example the Blades beating Manure is described as historic. A win for the ages. Is this what it has come down to. We are not even talking about for example a side like Barnsley that popped into the top division briefly but a historic big time club. Ditto for WBA drawing at Liverpool.

I watched the first half and thought that Bale made Geoffrey Howe seem like Usain Bolt not just movement but in his thinking.
Good goal by BHA which I pointed out to Mr IBB.
i also said I could see why Palace don't like BHA,they're too similar.
    Similar area,similar ground...
He gave me a withering look and hasn't spoken again.

It's probably why Man City and Liverpool will end up fighting for the title with Man U 3rd.

The plat each other next week.
