Swansea looking as **** as they have been throughout becoming the worst side in the division form-wise.

Well that was a decent strike...

No one picked up Ayew. Brainless defending at the end of the half.

Millwall are going to have to offer more of a threat when they come back out to have a chance of levelling it up. Think I might stop watching now and just cross my fingers for the final whistle - not sure it will be a particularly edifying experience otherwise.

People still care about Swansea’s results? They’re not getting anywhere near us.

Both sides are really poor so far. Such a contrast from the 1st half of our game last night.

Oh well, we couldn't expect our rivals to keep dropping points, still another 45 to go though.

As it stands this is also a nice display of just how hard we'll have to work to beat Millwall - no idea how they won the last three on the bounce/four of the last five.

Poor from Millwall but I’ll save my worrying about Brentford/Swansea’s results for when we start losing

Until then, anything they drop is just a bonus

No not if we keep winning.

Even with a win today and on Tuesday they’d still be 7 behind.

We could probably do with Swansea picking up enough points so that they are secure in the play-offs before we play them.

Exactly. 7 points, and a hypothetical 6 for Brentford, is still a huge gap at this stage of the season.

Either one of them will need to suddenly become the best team in the league over their last 7 games and hope that we become on of the worst.

Neither of Brentford or Swansea will get over 85 points.

Millwall losing here also probably means their season is done when we play them, which wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world.

Difference is Swansea took the lead which gave them some confidence - always helpful.

Would be bitterly disappointed with anything less than 6 points from our next 3 games.

Not to fussed if Swansea win this. We did our job last night, we just need to concentrate on us. They need us to go crap, not us wanting them to do the same.

Millwall are so ****. How they are where they are I’ll never know. We should be dispatching them comfortably at home, especially as their season is now well and truly over.

Had they not lost 4 in a row, I would be very nervous. But it's still in our hands. They have at least put pressure on Brentford and Muff.

We just need to do our job now and not worry about the others. If anything, this will be a good video for our coaching team to watch on how we can make sure we beat Millwall.

If you said to me picture the most typical championship side possible, this Millwall side would be it.

Yep. Absolute bunch of hard working cloggers with little to no actual ability.

6 clear of Reading now with a game in hand to come, they still have to play each other, but you'd imagine it's a matter of time now before Swansea's place in the play-offs is secure. Reading have to go to Norwich too, so their hopes are fading fast

More importantly, we've cut our cloth accordingly so it isn't like the Parachute Payments let us automatically keep our best players by and large. Welbeck, Deulofeu, Pussetto, Penaranda, Sinclair, Pereyra, Doucoure, Capoue, Mariappa, Janmaat, Holebas and Gomes either left, loaned out, mutually terminated contracts or retired. Yes some of these weren't big losses but certainly for the Championship you can't tell me a lot of these weren't big losses for this level. We just about hung onto Sarr as well, and came dangerously close to selling Chalobah in January because we had to sacrifice a lot of high quality players in the name of living within our means. Ideally we'd move on Deeney, Gray and Success due to their exorbitant wages but that's a different kettle of fish.

In the Summer we only brought in Ekong, Perica and Sierralta initally followed by Murray (lol) and Garner who both departed in January. Sanchez, Lazaar and Elliott only came in January on free transfers as well. Some were bigger losses than others but parachute payments didn't mean we could hold onto our most potent players by and large; we had to trim as much as we could whilst keeping a competitive squad and use what we had left from those already on loan last Season and within what was left of our squad.

I less concerned about Swansea than Brentford. If Brentford drop points it means we only need 9 from promotion.
