Started indoors last night with a lovely Stella, before meeting Wfcwarehouse in Walkabouts where countless snakebites got sunk, along with a few Jaegar bombs and some other overpriced crap from destiny later on in the evening, a cracking night

 

in an effort to get the sticky-ness back for the stella thread i've decided to continue with mundane blogs which are small, pointless and only slightly related to stella

last night when going to see the weakerthans (winipeg's greatest export?) the bouncer man stopped me from entering the union because i still had a tin of stella from home. i decided to drink it rather than chuck it because a course mate was out there having a ***. straight away i noticed that a far superior band were playing that night and massive pun-fest began. so i says 'terrorvision? i thought george bush killed them all?' my friends says 'que?' so i says, 'you know, in the war on terror...vision!' not one to be beaten she says 'well they sold out now,' to which i reply 'i'm am suprised there are that many people willing to pay for them,' to which she says 'no, i mean they sold out. their musical integrity is worth nothing to me now.' i then say, 'their musical integrity died the say they did a four song encore, each on called tequilla.' she then says 'i think it started then they got a sponsorship deal for vision express, although i did get a pair of terrorvisions despite not being visually impaired.' at that point i had finished my stella and delivered my parting shot to win it. 'i heard they're nothing more than the militant-extremist off shoot for the chukle brothers, who decided chucklevision wasn't enough.'

I am still recovering from an operation on my foot 8 weeks ago that makes it difficult to walk far and lift heavy things.

I usually park in the back of the house, which requires getting out of the car and rolling a big iron gate out of the way and then parking and then closing it. One of these days, I mean to put a motor on it with a clicker, but as yet I have not.

Anywho, I've been avoiding the gate by parking on the street out front, unless it's full up, in which case I park in the driveway up front. I usually park in the street if it's empty and I get home first and allow the wife to park in the driveway. Cuz I'm nice like that.

Anywho, I got home early Monday and politely took a space on the street in front of the house knowing my wife wouldn't be home until 7pm or so when the street would be full.

Later that night I started to feel a little sniffly and ear achey and throat achey, so I went to sleep early. When morning came, I had a full on cold, so I called my customer and told them I wouldn't be able to meet as planned because I didn't want to spread my contagion. Cuz I'm nice like that.

Anywho, I went back to sleep and when I awoke for some hot ginger tea which my mother-in-law who lives with us makes for when we get colds, I realized it was street cleaning day and that I had gotten a parking ticket for leaving the car on the street.

Well, the car is still on the street with the ticket tucked into the wiper blade because I don't feel much better yet.

Im having an opperation too but on my back. 11th of December, thankfully I can still make Stoke on the 9th BUT will have to miss out on Plymuff at home on the next saturday. Basically what they're doing is puttinf two screws in to my vertabrae diagonally to hold the two fractures together as they will not heal natrually. I will be in hospital for 3-5 days and be fitted into a brace which I will wear for 5weeks. After that its a long rest for 5 solid months and then hopefully I will gradually get back into my sport (football n tennis) although Im restricted to doing stuff I can still make all watford if funds are available....and I worked at ive been to 49 of the 92 league grounds.........btw im a young teenager, thought it was pretty good for someone of my age.
