Am not sure what has been happening there to be honest, but there has got to be changes made before the start of next season. So disappointing considering where we was at the beginning of the season!!

Was out for a few beers last night - well, that was the intention, but was seeing the scores come through. I wasn't that surprised to see Catalans win at St Helens, from what I have seen of them this season, they have really impressed me.

There wont be many making the trip north from London tomorrow, I think there is a coach going up so might have around 50 or 60 up there, pretty average for us. Spoke to Allison before football today, she said that Shaun has gone upto stay with you for the weekend - I hope that you are letting him support the Quins! Just hope that we can spoil the party tomorrow ;)

I defiantly think that Leeds will be in the final, I saw there game against St Helens last weekend, thought they looked very good. On the same token, Saints didn't impress me much either. However, got a strange feeling that either them or Wigan might sneak through, with a Rhino's win. Should be an interesting couple of weeks...

Watford played very well today with a very young side. Things aren't going to be easy this year, but if we can keep this side together then the future looks bright. Have you got any plans to do any games this season?

Good win for Watford and a welcome 3 points, lets hope for 3 more at Plymouth.

Wire v Quins was a typical end of season match, nothing to play for so the ball got thrown around quite a bit, plenty of handling errors, strange tries, etc.

Wire kicked off and tried a short 10 yard one! Don't see that very often.

Only about 50 Quins fans there but they seem to enjoy themselves despite the defeat. The Quins team got a great ovation from the Wire faithful as they left the pitch.

The Challenge Cup was paraded after the game with the players joining some of the crowd for photos - wouldn't get that in football!

Shame we couldn't reach the play offs so will throw my support behind any of the other teams other than Sintellins and Wiggin.

Should be down for a game sometime soon.

Well, a St Helens v Leeds final next Saturday evening then. Thought it might have happened but had started "supporting" Catalans in the play-off's purely just to see someone different in there. Oh, and the fact that they play in red & yellow!! I wont be able to watch the game as will be in Dnipropetrovsk watching England play against Ukraine. No preference on who wins, but if I had to choose, it would probably be Leeds (at a push!)

You're a chip off the old block with these trips to watch England.

I'll be cheering on Leeds in the Grand Final - can't stand Sintellins.

I'd have chosen Leeds over Wigoon also, had they won, as their fans are still living in the past thinking they're still the team to beat!!!!

Hope you enjoy Ukraine and we get the 3 points even though it's neither here nor there as qualifying goes.

I have got to try and catch up with some of the places that Mum & Dad went to somehow. Like you say, its a nothing game but would be nice to get three points against Ukraine and Belarus to end the qualifying campaign with a 100% record.

I think that Wigan are my most hated team in Super League - cant stand them!

My next game of Rugby could be the 24th October when Australia and New Zealand play at The Stoop.

controversial win from leeds last night, imo that try should not of been given as he was clearly half a yard offside, all camera angles proved it, i think the 3 in a row might of got in the refs heads a bit to much.

    It was certainly controversial.

I agree it was offside but any sympathy I have for Saints is nullified by the fact that they've benefited for many a year by getting the 50/50 decisions going their way!

Eastmond's try was also a bit touch and go as a lot of people, me included, thought he knocked on.

I was pleased Leeds won as it now means Sintellins is a Trophy Free Zone and as a Wire fan we have one over them for next season - won't have to listen to them singing "That's why we're champions".

Hopefully next season will see two completely different teams reach the Grand Final - Wire hopefully.

As we are now in 2010 - not long until Super League starts again!! Whilst in a ridiculous hangover earlier today, I was watching a review of the 2009 season and realised how much I am missing rugby.

Quins first pre-season game is on the 16th January against Crusaders before the London derby against the Skolars, which is on a Friday at 13:45 - seems a bit strange to me.

We then have our first game of the season on Saturday 30th January, at home to Wakefield. I think we are playing our first game earlier than everyone else due to we have Melbourne Storm in a friendly game in February.

Considering buying a season ticket but still undecided. £119 is not bad at all, but not sure how many games I will be able to get to go too. I shall see though...

Predictions for the new season? Cant see Quins doing much this year and doubt we will even get into the play-off's. I will admit that I don't follow what happens at the club as much as I used to, but I am of the opinion that it might be time for someone to come in with new ideas etc. In regards to the Super League, I don't think that you can rule out Leeds or St Helens but I think that teams like Warrington and Catalans will be up there in pushing Leeds and Saints right until the end.

    All the best for 2010.

Happy New Year MJ1 - hope all are keeping well.

Warrington were supposed to be playing Widnes on Boxing Day but that was postponed and re-arranged for yesterday, which again was postponed - it's freezing up here!

They have no plans to play it now. Next friendly is against Leigh in a couple of weeks - it'll take that long for the ground to thaw!

I'm looking forward to next season and reckon Wire are in with a shout but then again we've said that for year after year! Not sure that Stains will be quite the force they used to be but they'll still probably beat us twice! I really think it's wide open this year and very difficult to predict. My guess for dark horses is Wiggin - I hope i'm wrong!

Happy New Year to you and the family mate.

I am looking forward to the start of the season also, still undecided about getting a season ticket but am certainly going to try to attend more games than I have in the past couple of seasons.

Are you going to Blackpool next week?

I'm working on Saturday so can't make Blackpool!

    Can't say i'm too bothered as I can't stand Blackpool - it's a dump

Next away one i'll be at will probably be Preston.

Warrington had an easy win in a friendly at Leigh on Sunday - bit of a cricket score really!

We've got Quins first game although I think they're trying to put people off going rather than encouraging them to attend as the pre-match entertainment is--------Jedward!!!!!!

    God help us!

You didn't miss a great deal - we were absolutely dreadful at Blackpool on Saturday.

Give us a shout if you are going to Preston though.

Haha, after reading that Jedward are performing at the Wire v Quins game, I almost tempted to get travel north!!

If you fancy attending the Quins game give us a call and we can meet up - if you need a room for the night we have space.

I'll contact you before the PNE game and meet you if that's OK.

Thanks for the offer, but really cannot afford it especially with going to Barnsley the previous day.

Wakefield at home on Saturday for Quins, hopefully we can get the season off to a winning start. I am not at all confident though!! Just wish that the game was on Sunday so that I would be able to attend.
