Damn. I had a whole post complaining about the line-up ready to upload. I’ve been working on it all week, tweaking it based on news and Ivic’s press conference.
Cleverley and Kabasele not even on the bench, so 2 players who were not away on international duty look like they’ve got injured in training.
With no Cleverley and Hughes it just underlines how light we are in centre mid. Only major area of concern on the pitch for the time being.
Well, that line up has made me, and I suspect many others, happy. Watch us slide to a 2-0 defeat now. Shout out to Navarro somehow getting a bench place after his performance earlier in the season that genuinely was the worst I have ever seen from a senior player.
I like the old Pork Stranglers and the fans of theirs who I've known have been decent comrades. I also like their ground. Their forums are saying that they've got a weak team out and apparently, swear filter bothering Full Back Rob D1ckie got injured for them in the warm up, which they seem to think is a blow. Happy time for and our Ishy and HRH Kenneth?
I think we need to pressure them more second half and mark up our men. Someone needs to sit on Chair for a start.
Kiko looks a world beater going forward but oh dear he is SO bad defensively. Enjoyable game which might have some proper defending in the second half.
Ivic seems to be the most disciplined man ever with the least disciplined players ever. They keep saying "Oh we have the best squad in the league". Well, to win the league you need to put in the work as if you're the worst!
These corner routines are doing my fecking head in, they have clearly worked out what we are intending to do, just simply put the ball in the box it is quite patently an area where they struggle. Also, its probably an unpopular opinion but Kabasele is better than our other central defenders. Capoue may as well not have been on the pitch in that first half.
I quite liked his performance. His positioning was very good and,as usual,some nice passes. We do need more in midfield though.
Remember the people saying that Chalobah and Quina were better than Doucoure and Capoue? Both are finished. If they play many more games we won't get promoted.
Appalling second half. Midfield non existent. Bring on Quina but not Garner. No press and then no secondary press. Appalling. Sarr played as a striker. Why ? So negative and limp from Ivic. We need to bury sides like this to win promotion. Blood awful does not describe it. Sitting back and inviting pressure. What has Ivic been doing during the break. Rotten away record continues. Another rubbish performance when we got more than we deserved. QPR much better side and should have won or had a penalty.
Stole a point today, absolute rubbish We won't go up under Ivic, hes a cowardly, limited manager who is getting next to nothing out of one of the most talented squads this division has ever seen. I don't care if its 'harsh', I don't care if it brings more negative press coverage and I don't care about our league position. Tear off the band aid now, don't make the same mistake we did hanging onto QSF for so long last season- Ivic out ASAP
