Well if you take this literally we'll have about half a team missing and no defence! https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...yers/?action=success#comments-feedback-anchor I don't think Sarr and WTE will start but the others probably will with those 2 on the bench.
We're not going to win this. Sky Football League Expert David Prutton has got every single one of our results wrong this season and he's called this a win for us, so best we can hope for is a draw.
This is also the first time hughes has been out for a significant period for us in the 3 and a bit seasons he’s been with us
They did say the original injury was something non football related so wonder if he has had a private issue/problem we won't be told about. I bet he said we'd beat Barnsley and Wycombe - probably our worse 2 performances of the season. Sounds worse than Lawro!
I still can't believe he cost us £750k. Our new Kabba has as good a scoring record(4 in 102 v 1 in 25.)
I know this is getting off track from the thread but, is your comment about the scoring record supposed to be ironic? There is basically no difference between 4 in 102 and 1 in 25
I'll help you out a bit: My first line meant we vastly overpaid for this crap player. The second line showed that our defender has as good a scoring rate as our expensive flop/striker.
It's not as good. Played 2 games more than the equivalent. Conclusive proof that Kaba is the better striker for sure.
David Prutton has actually made one correct prediction relating to Watford. He predicted that Watford would win at Derby. Let us hope that Watford away to Q.P.R. will be his second correct prediction. He predicted that Watford would draw at Barnsley and win at Wycombe. His predictions appear to be less accurate than even Lawro and that takes some doing! Sky Football League Expert is definitely a misnomer.
Nice try but his conversion rate would be much lower so Kabba MK 2 is the better striker. Perhaps we can try him up there instead of Deeney,Gray or Murray
Ok, I understand the point now and agree he did not do as well as expected for a striker. Just a shame you chose a £6million pound defender as a comparison who has been sent off as many times as he has scored goals. But maybe that is a good comparison of two players with disappointing stats.
Lee Cook was a good player for us , remember him taking the p1ss away to Millwall once. It was the famous game where the whole away end sung "In touch with your feminine side " when one of the home fans started giving it big in his pink Lacoste shirt.
I have a good feeling about this game. That, coupled with the fact it's away, means we're almost bound to lose.
You are probably talking about the early season friday night game at Cardiff in 2005 when we realised we had a team of total fookin ballers on our hands. Happy days!!
True - not the most joyous of people and not sure I have seem him raise a smile! TBH Wilmot hardly travelled far did he and Cathcart didn't play full games so there really shouldn't be an excuse for them to play. I think even Sarr has had a week off after his games - presume he has managed to get back in time? WTE might be the one rested but not sure he has been that good anyway despite scoring the other week.
Kabasele, Cleverley & Garner OUT Wilmot, Chalobah & João Pedro IN So after all that seems the International players do play. Not sure having those extra subs help us really.
Well excited for this game, looks like the formation i've been after for a while - 3-4-3 with Sarr and JP either side of an actual striker.
Cue 1-0 defeat.. I mean if we don't look to attack and be on the front foot with this side then we never will.
Yep, 3-4-3. Sarr & Pedro flanking Gray. Capoue & Chalobah in the middle makes me a little nervous given some of Chalobah’s performances this season. This formation with Capoue & Hughes in the middle would be delightful Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
