Nor would Dyche, he spends too much time in the 4th officials ear.

Watching West Ham v Leicester currently, my god they're both horrific.

West Ham do get a lot of injuries don't they !

Watching Moyes on the sidelines in cringworthy. His attempts to coach/motivate/anything are just shocking. Then Pearce appears making that stupid face of his as if that's going to gee them up. West Ham are down, have no doubt about it. Put money on it.

Walter's attempts last season were worse - wave hands, point lots, wave a bit more, point more, turn red, get assistant to explain to player instead.

That wasn't coaching, that was 45 minutes of nicotine withdrawal in action.

As an ex-smoker I think you may have made a really good point. Without nicotine priorities get really mixed up and if I was in his position at the end of every game I would 100% have run off for a fag than make any effort to go and clap the fans

Don’t get your knickers in a knot love, obviously all of your results won’t be 1-0, or 0-0. So you won your last game 2-0 did you? congratulations! Go and pat yourself on the back, you managed to elevate the tedium that is watching Burnley by scoring one extra goal than normal. FWIW I’d rather watch entertaining football any day of the week, than the tedious grinding percentage existence your lot serve up. Football is entertainment is it not? You wouldn’t pay to go and watch a film that you knew was tedious and dull, WBA fans had enough of Pulis got exactly that reason, merely ‘existing’ is not the be all and end all for every football fan. I can tell you know I was glad to see the back of our last two managers because the football was dull, and I’d rather be in the championship watching entertaining football, than existing in the PL grinding out tedious 1-0 or 0-0 snorefests any day of the week.

Citeh went down to the third tier not so long ago, so they provide an excellent test case for you

Oh yes! I forgot that. I have no experience of theirs fans but if they don’t meet my criteria for humbleness then they must be due another stint. United fans are most certainly worthy of a tour of the lower league grounds

I saw Manchester Utd lose at Carrow Road in their one season in the second tier under Tommy Docherty. Their fans didn't take defeat too well - a bit of a riot

So in consecutive prem fixtures, two elbows to the head - one breaking a nose (Carroll on Zeegelaar), the other splitting a forehead open (Josh King on Roque Mesa) - and neither "offenses" were even deemed fouls?! Interesting........

The obligatory goal-fest at Turf Moor as usual, so far:rolleyes: (although being as they're playing for a top 4 spot, maybe this can't be considered "prem 2"!!)

Everton are pants - not sure how they came back from two down against us.

They look dreadful on Sky today

You can call me negative but with every passing week our loss to Everton looks poorer and poorer.

Surely we have to sort out competition for Gomes in January. If he gets injured we may as well put Elton in goal.

There must a good promis8ng keeper around who want to come to Watford know8ng Gomes is c9m8ng t9 an end

Having watched the Burnley match, I have to say that I'm not a big fan of Dyche. He did a decent job here under bankrupt Baz, but lets not forget he had a certain GT as a buffer between them.

His style of football is out of the Pulis/Hughes/Allardyce axis of evil manual, and is only tolerated for so long, especially when the team are no longer winning. It's like calling a paint by numbers a proper piece of art. Looking long, maximising set-pieces, heaps of players behind the ball, nicking the odd goal for a win. That style of play will only take you so far.

Nothing to do with football snobbery - we've seen some dross here over the years. We didn't care when Aidy had us winning, but when the wheels came off........ That's what makes the current experience of watching us so much more enjoyable. For every 0-6 drubbing, there's a 0-3, 0-2 attacking win.

That's not a proper comment, that's a comment by numbers is that.

Though, in answer, I'd have thought a keeper coming in was unlikely seeing as the club bought both Bachmann and Karnezis in recently.

I’m on Watford to win the ‘handicap’ league (+41 points) 16/1. Between us City and Burnley at the mo.

Very true, it looks a poor loss, yet Everton remain the only team to take a point off of City, so we’re in good company. It’s a funny old game as they say. If you ask me the Stoke loss was worse, at home with no new manager to give them a slight bounce, and they look equally terrible with every passing week.

We are in the Premier League and can now be backed for relegation at 100/1! And they say Man City are causing records to fall!

We are in a strange position at the moment - barring a win over Spurs by 5 or six goals, we are certain to finish next weekend in 8th place.

Our record vs Prem League 1b is impressive.

    Lpool D; Ars e W; Tott D.

The Burnley match feels like a playoff decider to join this elite group.

As bizzare a statement as this may seem, I feel much less confident about getting a result against Burnley than against any other team in the league including the two we’ve just played.

Muff player booked for diving in the penalty area. Ref spot on as it would have been difficult to see at normal speed.

5live said the ref would have given it if the Bournemouth bloke hadn't dived so "well"

There was no doubt that the Muff player made contact with the Saints guy, but that was exactly it, the Muff player deliberately hooked his foot behind the saints guys leg.

To me that is basically the same as when it's ball to hand and not hand to ball, therefore not a deliberate handball. The Muff player was guilty of deliberately making contact with the saints players leg hence he was commiting the offence of simulation IMO.

Klopp and Jose M having strops over penalty incidents.

Typically Big Sam and Pep Guardiola felt differently.

Personally thought the ref got both decisions right...

Maybe Klopp should play his proper team from the start and Mourinho tell his players they can attack...
