Hi Chewy and Kieran,

At least this is a good start. I must admit I stopped using the official board because of all the rubbish on there. It would be good to get back to how things were a year ago.

Saturday went well thanks Kieran - did a practice training session no probs and the final assessment is this saturday. Since 96% of people pass it shoudn't be too difficult! The coaches from WFC are superb and they have invited me to watch some of their sessions with the academy lads so that should be interesting.

yep, how annoying it is, one minute posting my week11 predictions , next minute closed down..

 

hopefully it wont, this is a different boards and many of te problems on the old board were down to the 'hierachy' on the board

 

Lets be fair... it was also down to some of the people that used to use them,

 

With the expected influx, how many members can be on at once and is there a special corner where the lurkers can just lurk at each other. As you can see I am coming out of lurking but it takes time, if I come out to quickly you get the lurking bends

 

This is the only time I'll post this, seen as it's a fresh start and all. But...all the talk of hierarchies and people with large post counts dominating others is a bit silly. In my experience, the only people who ever bring that up are those complaining about it. I've never once seen jobr (for example) go "I have 3000 more posts than you UEA, so I'm right" etc. And the truth is of all the people I've met up with, it's only ever been those with the big post counts who are prepared to meet at matches.

At the end of the day as long as this board emphasises that it doesnt represent the views of watford football club theres nothing they can do.

It was pathetic closing those boards, a perfect example of the premiership getting to the clubs head again.

to be honest I don't think it was pathetic, yes perhaps it should have been moderator better but when you get an offical WFC site with pictures like one of the ones on there that I saw, and the constant abuse and name calling I can see why they shut it down, it does not give the right impression of the club or the majority of the fans.

This club is supposed to be a family club so therefore all members of the family should be able to look at the boards and if I had children I would not want them any near those boards.
