Muff vs Preston (will be interesting to see what happens) Norwich vs Luton (not sure who we support , hate Luton but want Norwich to lose) Got to assume Muff and Norwich will win so crucially we win , Saturday was a good performance , Bristol was a bad one , if we play the same setup and team as Saturday think we will do it , if we **** around think we will draw Forest 1. Watford 3
If you don’t want Luton to lose every game, even if it costs us down the line, why bother with football?
Another interesting fact - Nottingham’s City Council’s longest servicing Council Leader (2003 to 2019) grew up in Watford and is a life-long Hornets fan...... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I think this is a key game for us right now. OK we have been ordinary until last game and every next game had felt like a must win, but right now we are in a great position and it feels like the real season starts now. We cannot afford to go backwards, we had a good win against an ordinary team, but need another good performance to really show we've turned the corner and ready to press on.... Win well at Forest and the team confidence will hopefully go thru the roof....
Forest will do a number on us as we fail to take renewed home positivity on the road. Wetters 1-0 Clappers
Social media snaps of Hughes, Cleverley and Masina back in training, look forward to possibly seeing them for Swansea on the final day then
I'm thinking 1-2 but that wasn't an option on the poll. I notice photos of Masina, Hughes and Cleverley training. Probably to early for any of them. That I think confirms that Caps, Sema and Murray have been the 3 isolating. Hopefully all 3 back in the squad for next weekend but interestingly we have played better without Capoue in the team. So Wednesday is an important match for Quina and Chalobah. Hopefully they will excel in the hope of keeping their place.
I would think the lack of Sema and the forced formation change, has had more impact on the performance of the team, than any individuals performance.
I don't think many of us thought 4-4-2 would prove to be the most effective formation (granted, one match). Fingers crossed we have 2 left-footed outlets by Christmas. A physically formidable left-hand side with a pacy, skilful right-hand side. Plenty of central options. Traditional 4-4-2 was good enough for Leicester to win the league, I suppose.
@Stuey great write up. You could of also included Little John and Maid Marion too. Shame Preyera left, he liked fancying about with his hair, not sure what he would look like in a pink royal gown though. Generally a point away is decent, and keeping our little unbeaten run going is crucial as it's so tight even at the top. One loss can drop you out the Playoffs. Houghton is a decent bloke, and is generally good at Championship promotion achievement, although Forest are far from that. If we play the attractive free flowing football we saw Saturday, it's in the bag. Playing away doesn't seem to suit us right now but if we are serious we need to win games like this. 1-2
Not a dig *BUT* I remember him on a Doctor Who Confidential (for "The Lodger") where between takes during the shooting of the football scene Matt Smith mentions being at the gooner filth with Jermaine Jenas - did they both move there or were poached?
I think Cleverley will be in the squad. He said Masina is 2-3 weeks away still and that they don't want to rush Hughes back but didn't really mention Cleverley other than saying he's training with the others. That's Vlads code for he's in the squad, although doubt he'll be starting
Nope definitely Florist. There is a Matt Smith that is currently in Arsenal youth team. Matt Smith (the actor) played for Leicester as well.
No Little John is a glory supporter and supports Man Utd whilst Maid Marion supports Notts County (she likes rooting for the underdog)
Eh, fine with me, obviously I'd love to have Hughes available all the time, but Chalobah and Garner seems to be working OK for now, them two as starters, Cleverley off the bench for one of them in the second half will be good
Mind you Maid Marion is so old that Notts County were probably the only club in the world at the time!
Well they aren't confident at all. https://www.forestforum.co.uk/threads/49211-MATCHDAY-15-NOTTINGHAM-FOREST-v-WATFORD
Forest are crap, but Chris Hughton is a very good manager at this level and I’d expect them to come good eventually. Nervy 0-1 away win.
Although I agree with wholeheartedly, the whole echo chamber phenomenon is a problem for society, I have also had to block some people who are just toxic or interminably dull and argumentative, irrespective of their viewpoint.
Let's whup these scabby bastads.... Any comrades remember cleaning snow off the pitch to get a cup tie on against these during GTs time? I think it had already been postponed a couple of times and we got free tickets as a reward. We lost eventually, but a glorious no shame defeat.
