Drifting more and more for Palace and coming in even more for us. 6/4 is the best you can get on him for us now, with the vast majority having him odds on.
Opposite on Betfair, Silva drifting for Palace but dropping for us. Not much money about though so a single bet can sway this massively.

The reason Silva is shortening in the betting for us is he in talks with Watford as we speak, he had talks with Porto and apparently according to the Mail they collapsed.
I don't think Garcia & Billy who never was, count for us, and Millen does not count for Palarse so that is 5 all IMO!
He didn't agree a deal with Porto. Theres no guarantee he will get a deal with the Pozzos either. But oddchecker has obviously reacted to the story and cut the odds.

If it turns out to be Silva it will probably be because he is the cheaper option, as that would suit Gino. However I am not so sure I would be entirely happy about that, as I can't help wondering whether what he did at Hull has been over hyped? Plus are we going to be his 3rd choice, having already had talks with other clubs? If that is the case I would rather not have him. Having said that lets hope he wasn't over hyped and that we are not just his 3rd choice if he does indeed become our next manager?

Exactly this. His record before Hull was excellent, and people seem to forget that they gave him absolutely no chance of keeping Hull up when he took over, after losing their best players in January. I have absolutely no idea why anybody would pick Gary Monk over Silva, except for the fact he's English and they prefer that. Monk would be fine, but there's a reason why sides in the Champions League aren't fighting tooth and nail to sign him.
