Anyone will see the game? Please report back how they played. Any chance this game could be on some web channel?

Order of the back 4 is confusing. I think it's this:

    Mariapa M.Willo Travner Doyley

Malky will faouvr Lloyd at left-back as he actually was the first manager to play him there

    It will be:

    Doyley, Mariappa, Williamson, Travner

Absolutely no chance I'm afraid Bizi. In fact you won't be able to catch any Watford games anywhere on the web unless they're being shown on tv over here by Sky. And we only have one of those before November I think.

That's too bad. Maybe Slovenian TV channel that holds the rights for broadcasting EPL games in Slovenia will arrange some games as now both Koren and Travner will be playing in Championship.

So the total summer signings now rises to 3. None of them are the sort to get your juices flowing, but if they are good enough to do a job, they all look like value.

All I want to see now is that Priskin is staying and that another attacker will be signed if Smith goes and then I think we will be well placed to start next season.

If Muff goes, expect numerous posts from me about crown jewels and the promised never selling of them.

Should have said something, that was me. It is my surname by the way. I hope you didn't see me spectacularly **** up trying to get out of the car park (field)?

Careful! :p He was useful on the pitch, bar one hilarious occasion where he did a stepover and drag but forgot to take the ball, then fell over trying to turn back for it.

Hi Bizi, can you get Sky Sports News in your country? If you can, you might just see some very short clips of some Watford games on that?

If you can't? then I'd imagine that one of our computer whiz kids could put any such clips on u tube for you to see if you were to ask them?

Hi folks! Like that "bizi" guy I'm also from Slovenia. I am neither relative of Travner nor involved in any kind of sports business... just a sports fan, spending a lot of time (too much actually) on and near the football pitch.

As soon as I heard for Travner to join your club, I instantly checked your WFC website and forum for any kind of reactions. It would be interesting to get the information about the transfer fee, as our club (NK Celje) was near bankrupcy. In recent months, our club has regularly breaking the contractual obligations towards the players (because the lack of funds). I guess Travner could cancel the contract and signed for Watford FC for free. But anyway...

»Bizi« already gave you some informations about this fella. I would just like to add something more, that was not mentioned before. Travner is pretty good left footer with decent technique and high determination. You won't see him acting lame (or looking lazy) on the football pitch. He always tries to put his best on the field. He's undoubtedly the most constant performer of our team in the last couple of seasons. Normally playing LB, familiar with LW, but showing some fantastic performances in DC! Even though he lacks height (aprox 180 cm), he has pretty good headers. His strengths are also agility and consistency.

His main weakness could be the fact, that he adopted the slovenian slower tempo of the game. I think he is able to think fast on the pitch, but need some time to get use to the english way of playing.

I think he could be a good signing, just give him time to get use to the new area and to develope his game.

    Cheers!

Should be a good buy considering sadler is ****, Parkes in on trial at gillingham and is probably going to stay there and could be a back up for doyley incase he is injured or plays right back.

Malky Mackay on Jure Travner (source: BBC)

"He looks as if he can play in the Championship, and that's what I wanted. It will take time just to bed him into English football.

"He has got to be careful with some of those tackles but his attitude and application have been excellent."

Rewind to Ray Lewington signing Ja Demerit from Northwood Town. :sign15:

Hopefully there isn't some obscure Slovenian feasting ceremony that will affect his on pitch performances. ;)

From reading this morning's article in the Wobby it would seem Travner has been brought in as Lloydinho's understudy.

So he'll get time to adjust... at least from Malky, as I'm sure the canuting canut Watford fans won't be as patient. I hope he'll adjust quicker than Priskin did.

I just wonder if Malky might be thinking of him primarily as a CB? Especially if Jay and Willo2 leave as rumoured!!!!

Quote from Malky interview on the OS.

"He speaks perfect English and since he has been here he has been excellent in terms of his attitude and his application."

Hopefully this should help him settle in more quickly. I think he could may well be a fairly decent signing.
