They've barely played together have they?

  2. just **** off.

  3. But when they have, they really have looked exceptional.

So what? I'm comparing him to five years ago when he could probably have put two shifts in. There might be a difference in tactics but at L'pool you often see him blowing a bit compared to the youngsters.

Milner has been absolutely fantastic this season so far and will definitely play the full 90 bar injury.

Liverpool fans are the worst around.

I'd take a harmless United fan living in London, over a ranting Liverpool fan at the bar on holiday aggressively shouting incoherent nonsense at you as if it is fact. They are generally 'yesterday' men, always looking back with pride, like their club is successful. It isn't.

Of course there are some reasoned, down to earth Scousers too, just they are known as Everton fans.

Liverpool,Spurs and perhaps now Man U and Arsenal have more yesterdays than todays :)

And Leeds and Forest fans are the day before yesterday men.

  9. Everton getting taken to pieces - a win and we might be up to 6th...

Yep, telepathic understanding. Did I read somewhere they were at school together?

Everton's positive GD cut in half in the first 45 minutes. C'mon Chelski!

Very glad we haven't got to play Chelsea until March. Hazard looks like he is back to his best again.

Yep, think it was a WD article.

Where are the ultras drinking before the game? I'm going to this game with my Austrian friend who is just visiting the country and I want to show him a real game experience!

For whomever asked, so far in the white kit we have beaten West Ham, lost to Burnley, and beaten Middlesbrough. 5 goals for, 4 against for 6 points. In the yellow kit we have drawn Southampton, lost to Chelsea and Arsenal, beaten Manchester United, drawn Bournemouth and Swansea, and beaten Hull. 9 goals for, 9 goals against for 9 points.

The scouse are taking this deadly seriously on their forums which is amazing. One was quite angry at the minnows comment.

I think Everton fans are even worse. They have a 'we are a big club' obsession that makes me proud to support a small one.

Can't help but like Klopp though.

Surprised they don't get the humour and fake anger given they are Scousers.

Mind you says something that some of their fans don't know why the game is on a Sunday!

Still 7th after yesterday's games. A win today and we move up to 6th (unless Man U win by more). Even a defeat can't drop us below 8th.

Unless I've forgotten my alphabet a 1-0 win won't get us above Everton

I can see this being a fairly uneventful and routine win for us.

Not saying we'll blow them apart - but we'll do enough, just like we did against Hull and Middlesbrough.

Klopp is massively over-hyped (just an ugly cheerleader as far as I can tell) and the whole club reeks of living on past glories and delusions of grandeur - just the sort of outfit we'll take apart, leaving the press to focus on Liverpool's uncharacteristic failings and lack of luck rather than acknowledging our obvious superiority. But we're used to that by now.

So says bloated John 'Biscuit Barrel' Barnes.

OK, one. We didn't finish well in fact. You weren't watching John. Two, we didn't 'rip up the rule book', we just won sufficient games playing football on the floor with players of premier league standard. One of those games being against your beloved Mickey Mousers JB. Three to nil. Did you see that one?

And finally, you're not objective. You're a puffy Mr Creosote wedged into a collar and tie who's forgotten where he came from and who he owes for the fact that he got to play bloody professional football at all rather than carry Daddy's diplomatic bag around the posh parts of Kingston, Jamaica.

I really hope we win, just so we can stick it up his pudgy flobbery ungrateful 45 BMI arse.

Bit OTT. There is nothing in that quote to take offence at. "Finished well in fact' may just mean 13th rather than 17th with relegation not an issue with weeks to spare, 'ripping up the rule book on survival', well we abandoned continuity that's true. 'I see a Liverpool win'. Right now, ahead of KO who doesn't? Hope that bit is wrong, but it's hardly incendiary to say so.

This is definitely my favourite response on the Liverpool forum.

  31. Correct. But 3-1 to the Orns with 3 second half goals will, and that is what will happen. And I shall be considerably richer. But 1-0 Watford and no money for me will do just fine.

true but a 2-1 win would. We'd have the same GD but would have scored 1 more goal

  34. Sting

We would technically be joint 6th - alphabet is only for show - it does not actually count if two sides finished that way. A 2-1 win solves the problem so I will take that
