    Positives:
    - Sarr. MOTM for me. He’s fast, but gave the ball away less than I expected. And he tries.
    - Considering the quality of the opponent and being away that was a better performance than many this season

    Negatives:
    - Deulofeu & Doucouré. My goodness they were terrible. I’m actually impressed we didn’t lose by more by based on how poor they both were for the whole game. If they had played well we could easily have won this game.
    - we didn’t create much, but Leicester are a strong defensive unit.
    - second half refereeing was a bit of a joke

sorry, what was the difference between the stand-in U11 coach and either Gracia or QSF?

One seriously has to question The Pozzo's at this point. No matter where we were under Bassini.

Firstly, the squad strength but we've discussed that in-depth.

More pressingly (and depressingly) who on earth thought Quique Sanchez Flores was a good appointment?

All today showed me was just how bad that appointment was. We would be on at least four more points under a different manager, I'm so convinced QSF lost us points. Someone needs to take accountability for that decision and apologise.

How on earth is Kiko Femenia a professional footballer by the way? Absolutely stealing a living.

Sarr played well. And the team were more concentrated off the ball.

But as an attacking force second half when we needed a goal or at least some shots that was as bad as it gets.

I think you add a genuine threat up front and the team will pick up wins.

As it is, however, we offer absolutely zero going forward. Sarr is a live wire, but incredibly raw and inexperienced.

At present I just don't see how a new coach will make fark all difference. We're in damage limitation mode until 1st Jan, and even then who would want to join us?

Good performance. The ref couldn’t wait to give Leicester something. Big strong centre half goes down like a sack of sh*t after Masina, who was looking at the ball, brushed his face with his fingers. Then 10 mins later Femenia has a hand in his face and shirt pulled by Vardy in our own box and the ref doesn’t give a free kick.

Let’s not carry on getting bogged down in our poor recruitment, get over it because we’ve got who we’ve got for now and it’s been done to death.

Sarr was the best player on the pitch by a country mile, the Leicester defenders were so scared of him they chose to put the ball out of play everytime instead of taking the risk. I haven’t seen a Watford player put pressure on like that all season.

    Major negatives tonight:

Masina - he’s just out of his depth. He’s not good enough for this level.

Femenia - woeful. Position, touch, tackling all 2nd rate.

Doucoure - not been a fan of his for a while now. Think some fans were getting carried away by his chant but it is the least accurate chant in football. He always gives the ball away. Every f**king time. Passing is directly to the opposition and he has the touch of a brick wall. It’s become clear that he over performed 2 seasons ago, instead of under performing now.

Feeling confident for Saturday if Mullins is in charge. If he can come in and overhaul our team to make the defence slightly more convincing, and hold our midfield lines to transition fluidly between defence and attack in the space of 3 days then I’m all for it. Granted there wasn’t a great deal of break throughs up front but there was more tenacity and desire that’s for sure.

Give him the job, we have nothing to lose. At least we can bloody understand what he’s saying. Furthermore, go on the podcasts app on your iPhone right now and type in “magic sponge” hosted by Dave. It’s a podcast presented by jimmy bullard where he invites ex pros to tell stories about the unprofessional side of the game. Graham Stack, our interim assistant manager has a reputation in football for being a notorious character and he sits down with Jimmy to provide one of the funniest hours I have ever heard. He must be fantastic to have around our dressing room.

More of the same. Our players are still crap. It wasn't Quique or Javi making them crap, they just are crap. We have a loathsome, arrogant, gutless, ****** bunch of scum bag players who disgrace the club week in week out and who all think they deserve better elsewhere. Our owners deserve what we are getting they allowed our squad to fester into this rancid pit of filth it has become, where players who aren't even Championship standard are starting regularly for us. We are a disgrace to this league and we deserve to go down. Everyone hates us; pundits, commentators, opposing fans, refs etc. because we are a ****** club who thought their ****** way was best, but have been found out. All our chickens are coming home to roost in the most dramatic way and we are down. We will go down again too. Our owners are utterly in panic mode and don't know how to arrest the slide, because all the things they should be doing are contrary to their own, stupid little way of operating. This will cost them 9 figures and that is the only comforting thing about the whole debacle.

Happy with the effort , bit more belief and attacking intent. Leicester have the tightest defence in the league so the fact we struggled to create much tonight shouldn’t be the measurement of the team under a new manager.

Having said all that, it’s pointless putting crosses into the box as we don’t have a single player able to do anything with them. Also lack of numbers in the box if it did fall nicely.

I know this is going to come as a shock but I think we need a couple of better defenders and strikers to be a half decent team again.

Thank goodness Deeney was back, thought he made a big difference (admit it haters) and I would be fine with Mullins getting a run of games. It was without doubt an improvement on the Quique II era.

The team are now joining in that defiance by getting us comfortably to relegation.

haha Mullins an improvement. he brings on Success and Quina when needing a goal when they've hardly played and brings on our 'fox in the box' with 3 mins to go.

Not that it matters as we were down after Burnley.

Oh and Mullins - thanks for filling in, but a scarecrow could have done the same. The subs were far too slow tonight and any hope we had of getting anything out of the game disappeared as the clock ticked down.

I am just going to call it now. I'm not going on Saturday or again this season. Hopefully they revoke my Season tickets because they want to keep it full or something.

Going to make this a regular feature, what was your favourite hapless moment of this week's game? Think there's only one winner...

    a) Ben Foster time wasting when we're 1-0 down with ten minutes to play
    b) Doucouré opting to pass backwards when he had space in the box to turn and shoot
    c) Hughes hitting Deeney with our only good chance from open play
    d) Kiko Femenia putting his hardest ever tackle in... on Mariappa
    e) Isaac Success shepherding a bouncing ball out for a Leicester throw

I thought we were ok first half, some decent football and we kept them quiet. Hughes probably had our best chance, well, our only real chance and should of at least got it on target. Leicester are a very good side and I think we got off lightly tonight with the score. Pawson, you absolute clown. That was never a penalty in a month of Sunday's, he fell down acting like he hit him in the face. Yes there was slight contact but not enough for a penalty. What a joke of a referee. He gave almost everything Leicester's way and may of well have been wearing a Leicester shirt second half.

As for us, we did not deserve anything from the game, and their second goal was just a total calamity of errors but Mapps must take the blame there. Awful pieces of defending and totally lost it at such a critical time. Foster probably didn't cover himself in glory and maybe should of saved their penalty first half. Attacking threat? A few decent runs forward but nothing really to worry them. Sarr was good again and followed up well from his good performance at Southampton. Easily looked our most dangerous player on the pitch and really gave it a go. Deeney… was pretty anonymous it must be said. Had a few goes at the referee and muscled in now and then. but perhaps he isn't 100% fit yet so a bit harsh to judge him too much. Mullins did OK but it was a massive ask coming into this game expecting anything. He did alright I thought and we played with a bit more flair than we did under QSF.

But his subs reminded me a bit of Gracia. Too little too late. Good choice in ditching Delafoo, he was poor today and his FK's and corners were not what we have been seeing as of late. Deeney going off for Gray was way to late in the game for him to really do anything, but it was nice to see Quina get a bit of game time. Let's be honest, we were never going to get anything here, and the performance was about as bad as it could of been with hardly any threat up top and a makeshift backline. I think the 4 4 2 suited us well tonight, but we did look exposed down the wings a lot especially in the second half. Leicester are worthy of second place at the moment, they will beat a few teams more than 2-0, as much little comfort as that brings. I cannot see where we go from here. We are stuck with a poor squad till January at the earliest - it's looking more and more certain as the games go by that we are going down.

The boys gave it a go at least in part tonight - Crystal Palace will be a tough ask of Mullins too. But we have more chance of getting something from that than we did tonight. Shout box awesome again and thank you to Amazon Prime f0r a near perfect stream tonight. BTW - having no commentary is so much like being at the game.

Really is going to be a slog for anything. Good effort overall, just no got a squad capable of getting us out of trouble.

Don't see it. I think from the moment that first goal went in for Brighton, we were down. We had a terrible summer during which we sat and chewed over our global humiliation and have now compounded it week in and out. This is by far the worst season in my history of supporting the club. Not because we haven't been the worst team before and in lower leagues, but because previously it was because we were severely outmatched in terms of resources and so it was justifiable. This season it's pure hubris, complacency and cowardice that has done for us and that has never been the combination before.
