If I were the Spurs board I would use look of every psychological advantage I could get in this one. MK Dons place will result in no-one going. If they chose to play in that dog kennel up the road there would only be Spurs fans at the game.

Surely there are a few London grounds free?

About 5 of the away draws are London sides. That should be the place to start, ahead of MK.

I think they’ll end up being forced to play at the Vic.

Which one do you think would allow Tottenham to use it as a home ground? The Olympic Stadium, perhaps? Can you imagine if it was at Arsenal’s ground; what would the chances be that they wouldn’t leave it in the condition they found it?

Odd decision really, if they plan to play a full strength team then fair enough, but they definitely won’t, so why bother?

It’ll be played at the Vic but as it’s Tottinghams home match Watford will only get 3000 tickets in the Vicarage Road end.

Gino should negotiate a fee to let Spuds play the game is played it at the Vic as the home team. Increase the home team ticket price to £50 a ticket and make the away tickets free.

Do you really think Spurs would have put this proposal to the EFL board without asking MK Dons if they're supportive first? I'm sure they've already agreed a rental fee.

Think this would be the worst option. From our point of view, a bye against Spuds would be clearly preferable to going out to them, but if we go through via a forfeit and go on to actually win the cup that way, it still won't be enough to be on equal terms with Luton finally with trophies won. It would always be we won it by default.

    Here’s another suggestion

Have squad members of each play each other on FIFA 19 then whoever wins the most games that team goes through.

I doubt that'll make a difference, there are loads of Spurs fans in MK who don't go to matches, they'll easily sell out the home end with 'supporters'. My nephew has decided he's a Spurs fan because Harry Kane plays for them (the WC was his first real exposure to football), there'll be hoards of parents taking their miniature people to it... Not that Kane will play!

MK Dons will be trying their best to make it happen, they are potless and need the money.

It's not a neutral venue unless the tickets are split 50/50.

That ground is smaller than White Hart Lane or Wembley so there will only be a few Watford supporters able to get a ticket. Cunning, really.

Why did this only come to the fore when the draw was made? You'd have thought the chance of a home game would be considered previously, so why wasn't there an agreement with the EFL already?

I'd allow them to play at MK, on the provision that all their future fixtures in the cup are also played there. Seems fair to me.

Two prem teams playing on a league 2 surface should be a great spectacle.

Is it still the case that they won't open the top tier of Stadium:MK? Or were they only doing that because MK have low ticket sales?
