I see we have a very solid new forum ****** in Travis.

It's always a personal battle with you against someone or other.

You are not as clever as you like to think you are and hence attempting to belittle people who are of higher intellect than you, is your only comfort.

Annoyingly Tapatalk doesn't hide posts from people like you, on my ignore list, otherwise I'd be happily insulated from your childish, confrontational posts.

I'm pretty sure Deeney doesn't want Mazarri there, and I'm of course a huge fan of our captain, but he can't use his feelings towards the manager in a negative way that impacts the team. We've seen many times before that when Deeney isn't interested, the team follow his lead. Whether the manager goes or stays we've got to get to a place where the players respect him.

Always read this forum after a defeat. It cheers me up to hear what the cry baby's have to say. Loving it, keep those comments flowing.

I couldn't say I'd be upset if we got rid of the manager and all the players were shipped out and replaced next year.

I dont think its a sensible option but I wouldnt be upset at all.

Unfortunately, you take it all a bit seriously. There are plenty on here I agree with, debate with, share views with happily.

You just get a bit upset when it doesn't match your own thoughts. The conversation on this thread started with a fair challenge by me, followed by a condescending response from Chumlax.

Tapatalk does hide posts by the way. I had you on the border, but you can finally join a couple of the others in the bin.

Good. Less of you quoting my posts and bringing your schoolboy taunting to my sensitive eyes.

My posts are wasted on you anyway.

Some more post-match nonsense from the head coach

"Impossible to lose, but we lost anyway" - Mazzarri

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39680597

As I suspected, Mazzarri sticks with his favourite players regardless of form. Mapps was MotM last week, but Britos (who has been erratic this season) comes straight back in.

Listen, I'm a relatively infrequent poster. I come on here to share my views about the football and occasionally other topics.

There's no taunting. I'll meet respect with respect, and tantrums with derision.

This means a lot more to you than me.

  10. Between the sending off and the first goal we totally dominated play but didn't have players with the skill and guile to break through their 10 man defence

If ever we needed Zarate or Pereyra this was it

Then we got sucker punched and game over

The game just reinforced for me the problems in our squad - not enough pace at the front, we don't pass the ball well or quickly enough, and our centre backs are likely to implode without warning

Whilst I agree about missing Pereyra, my response to this is always that the coach must have a way to win games like this. Hes surely scouted Hull and knew how they played. What was his plan, bore the opposition to sleep or just hope for the best?

If it's the second, then it's a sorry state of affairs.

  12. Honestly what else did he have on the bench to change it up?

The squad is a lower half table squad, maybe 3 or 4 are capable of playing for top half sides. Games like this show we are at the squad ceiling.

It's my opinion is that we will probably not pick up another point this season, so yes, it will be totally down to the other sides as to whether they can get to 41 points or not.

Poor. Disappointing. Dropping Marriapa for Britos is a poor message from Mazzarri in my opinion. How can Marriapa be dropped for a favoured player who is in average form at best?

  17. Okay - hands up - who on here is David from Watford on 606? "Worst football I've seen in 53 years" "The Pozzos have ruined our club."

    Worrying if true.

In seriousness though, what an absolute ******. At a minimum 4 (but I reckon more than that) of the last 10 or 11 seasons have been worse in terms of style of play. Pozzos are the best owners this club have ever had.

    Almost lost for words

The first 20 minutes you could see what we were doing, getting the ball wide, pushing the defence back, bringing Niang and Amrabat in to the back post when play was on the other side, creating chances.....

The a dodgy red car, yellow at most for me, and we fall apart

We keep one up front, when we made a change, we kept 1 up front and made no change to the system. Then just to cap it off we get caught on the brake against 10 men. WTF ?

It was criminal and showed a level of contempt from both players and management that they could possibly think that that level of commitment and desire was good enough.

  22. He also said he's thinking of going to support Tottenham because "they've got 6 English players if you count Harry Winks".

Pozzos certainly haven't done anything wrong!

Provided money for the managers and really up-graded the ground.

If he thinks they are club wreckers what did he think of Coventry/Orient and Charlton...

What losing to a side in 17th with 10 men?

No it doesn't show that, it shows we are playing miles, absolutely miles below our best.

I am in agreement with Hornetboy on almost everything. If Swansea lose to Man Utd we are definitely safe as I cannot see us getting another point this season. We are not as good as our league position and personally I would like WM sacked NOW as I think it is a disgrace he has not mastered the language yet and I don't think he is good enough. Joka at Fulham is better than him and if they get promotion I think they would beat us on current form. Chris Kamara said today that they are a superb team. I wish the same could be said about us as watching them at the moment is painful

Put simply, there are some members of the squad who are of average ability and think they are better than they are. (Deeney, Capoue, Britos...etc)
There are some members of the squad that simply aren't up to PL football but we like their effort so we as fans, don't admit as such. (Cathcart, Behrami, Holebas...)
There are also some that have PL ability but show it far too fleetingly. (Janmaat, Amrabat, Niang....)

The performances of all of the above could be rectified somewhat (not totally) by a manager that is inspiring and doesn't suffer fools lightly - its all to obvious that our manager is passive and not reactive to situations in games where we need to take the initiative.

I don't see us getting another point this season given our run-in. However, I think results elsewhere will probably just about see us safe. But I also think sadly we are between a rock and a hard place as a team right now - can't see much changing with this manager and this squad, but make those changes and its another pre-season of uncertainty. Tough call to make...

You are genuinely delusional if you are claiming that you made a 'fair challenge' and I then started it by condescending to you. A claim that is not at all backed up by any of your subsequent responses. I'm well aware that even engaging in this is pathetic enough, and I've never done it on here before, but I just can't help myself in this case.

To be honest it is refreshing to see a ruck where HB1 isn't involved so go for it.

  33. Burnsy

I accept my phrasing of that point wasn't exactly what I meant. But for me, they are not to the standard of the PL club we are TRYING to be. If Walter is to stay, I'd either like Dowling to insist on bringing in English players or Mazzarri exploiting his knowledge of the Italian defensive game and bringing in some Italian defenders.

  34. After the red card Hull and before their goal parked the bus.

We didn't have a single player capable of unlocking it. On the pitch or on the bench.

Like it or not that is the realty.

Then we got sucker punched because our back 4 is awful with not 1 half way decent CB in the lot.

  35. zztop

    zztop Eurovision Winner 2015

Our back four consisted of 3 internationals with over 100 caps between them and another who has played 139 times in the Italian top tier. We didn't see that today, and we havn't seen it for about 80% of our games this season. But they are more than capable of holding a poor Hull side with 10 men.
