[REPORTED] Grosicki

Funny isn't it. Both the manager and the player know each other and the system better than any of us. They worked together 6 days a week for 5 months, yet people are trying to say we're making a mistake based on a few highlights on motd and the opinion of 1 or 2 Hull fans. Seems even sillier when we consider he excelled in the system, won a POTM award and ripped us apart in the away game.

I'm not saying he'd be my first choice personally, but if we sign him Silva knows exactly what to expect from Grosicki and Grosicki knows exactly the job he needs to do. It won't be a case of accidentally signing a player who doesn't fit the system and has the wrong attributes as some seem to be suggesting

 

I know its a cliche to say this about players, but it really seems to be the case with him.

So in theory , he should have blinding August and then we should rush sell him on Aug 31 to Newcastle for 20 mill

 

Micah Hyde was another one.

The long johns and gloves came on 1st week of October and he was useless until March

But if that's true, we are likely not signing Grosicki. Which I'm not upset about.

 

Grosicki uploaded an Instagram post yesterday with a thinking face emoji, personally I think he is on the way out after he already made it clear he doesn't want to play in the championship (as reported in all the transfer links about him)

Also he was left out of their preseason squad I believe?

Quite possibly. But as the situation is right now, I'm inclined to believe the actual words that came out of the managers mouth as opposed to vague transfer rumours in the press or trying to figure out what an emoji could mean on his Instagram post.

 

Yeah I mean none of it is particularly meaningful and tbh I don't really care what happens to him. Wouldn't mind if he joined or stays at Hull, just speculation ain't it mate?

 

If Grosicki uploaded an Instagram with our stadium and the **** emoji - would that mean he's eating chocolate pudding at the restaurant?

Amrabat played the full 90 minutes yesterday in what appeared to be a last chance to impress Silva. Hard working as usual, two half-decent crosses and a half-decent shot on target second half. Not enough I think to make the squad. Feminia when he came on linked across OK with Amrabat. However I instantly wanted Feminia to be the one further forward. Good close control, reads the game well and put in some decent crosses himself. Contrast Amrabat head down poor decision making too many touches to get ball under control and so on. Don't dislike the guy for his efforts especially early last season but it is now delete and upgrade time.

 

Yea for what it's worth he looked impressive in the ITV highlights show

 

After seeing how ineffective we were down the flanks yesterday, Grosicki or Lennon will be welcomed by me. Might need to play Richarlison up front and Pereyra in behind so Silva will want at least one more winger. Hopefully we also have an option in Feminia as he looks a good player with excellent technique.

 

Im surprised we havent given Feminia a run out further forward yet. He has spent most of his career as a winger and its showed in his forward play so far. Plus we dont need 3 right backs

Hope we're not just seeing a late impact effect, like with Chunky Isaac, and that his game can last 90 minutes, but very impressed with him so far.
