Apparently we've offered €60m for PSG winger Goncalo Guedes.

No that's not a typo. €60m.

 

I am uncontrollably laughing at this. I dont know why, but its just hilarious.

 

60 million? Seems legit.

 

Apparently the source suggesting this is Tier 1 for PSG news, so there has to be some substance to it. That, however, doesn't make it any more likely that he would actually want to come to us, nor that he will become a super striker capable of leading the line and banging us into Europe/not slinking sheepishly into the bottom 3.

 

Mendes client. Anyone know the Pozzos relationship with him? When he's involved, anything is possible.

Watford have offered close to €60m for Gon*alo Guedes

The reliable Culture PSG are reporting this evening that Premier League side Watford have offered just under €60m to sign PSG winger Gon*alo Guedes.

However, the Portuguese international is maintaining his stance that he only wants a move to Valencia this summer.

The 21-year-old has been the subject of interest from Watford throughout 2018, with PSG wanting to sell to the highest bidder this summer, especially with an FFP investigation hanging over them. Wolves were also expected to challenge for the player, but appear to have moved on to other targets.

Valencia are happy to wait until after tomorrow’s English deadline, and are hoping that Guedes remains firm in refusing to move to any other club but them, which he is currently doing.

PSG have put enormous pressure on Guedes in recent days to accept a move elsewhere, with Valencia not offering close to the €60m that Les Parisiens want for the player.

 

I didn't think the French had a sense of humour, looks as though I was wrong.

Almost certain that they mean Wolves given the fee and the fact he’s from Portugal.

Sp PSG are desperate to get rid, nobody wants to pay the €60m they're asking, which means he could cost much less However he wants to go to Valencia not Watford. Maybe when he's heard about Top Golf and the Intu expansion...

Doesn't make it any more likely he signs as he doesn't seem interested, but the authors Culture PSG are seen as extremely reliable for PSG news.

They have also confirmed it is indeed Watford who are interested not Wolves, and that in a somewhat creepy step they have been following him for months.
