Sir Mo. Has to be. A refugee to a peer of the realm. What a story. Only in America.

Anyone else just see Miles Jacobson singing the national anthem in his Watford shirt during Mo Farah's medal presentation?

In the final day, there are 8 Gold medals that Russia can win

They only need 7 in order to replace GB at 3rd place.

It's highly unlikely but possible I suppose. They'd have to win the Marathon (not really going to happen) and win both weight categories in the Wrestling (unlikely) before even considering the other sports. AND our two finalists in the Boxing would both have to lose their respective fights as well.

So barring a major problem in the final day, Great Britian finish 3rd in the overall medal table which is nothing short of fantastic!!

A stunning display from GB. If we had performed in the pool the total would be greater. Let's hope 2016 shows a further improvement.

Is that today's deliberate mistake? and I'm not talking about "Only in America" ;)

Maybe Mo ought to do a run next Saturday just to cheer the nation up again..

Well done Tom Daley too...supposed that Twitter troll isn't so quick to tweet this time.

Well the Russians lost both of their matches for the Wrestling this morning, before we even consider the Marathon and the Mountain Biking.

So that's a guaranteed 3rd Position in the Olympics for Team Great Britian!! Wonderful

    Femi's got gold. Somehow.

Well done Anthony Joshua. Do we get a gold postbox in Watford now?

I bloody hope so. I hate the fact that the commentators don't even mention watford (more anti-watford bias perhaps?)

He lives in Finchley now though :(

Born in Watford though. Let them try and rob us and see what happens.

That means nothing sometimes. Laura trott (the cyclist) got 2 golds and 3 gold postboxes: one in harlow where she was born and 2 in chesunt where she lives now. So pozzibly...

Good chance of a medal in the modern pentathlon.

He was born in and grew up in Watford, the fact that Watford doesn't even get a mention is a joke. He's from Watford, not Finchley.

  21. nisman94

Hold on though he's just like me. I was born in wembley and grew up in both watford and wembley. I consider myself a londoner and from both places. He could do the same

  22. NathWFC

    NathWFC First Team

I was born in Watford and lived there until I was 14 and I will always consider myself to be from Watford, that's where I was born and that was where I spent the majority of my childhood. Femi was born in Watford and lived in Watford until he was 16, you don't spend a couple of years in another town/city and suddenly become from there. If someone grew up in somewhere like Manchester and moved down south when they were 16, do you think they would consider themselves a southerner?

  23. nisman94

    nisman94 International Man of Mystery

Tbf he went to hackney/finchley/haringey when he was 14 and along the same vein as me still consider myself as a londoner he would consider himself as someone from watford. Thing is he started his boxing in london so he might have a stronger affinity with London especially given his success. There could certainly be allegiance to both

Either way, Watford should still be getting far more of a mention.

If we don't get a post box, we should all refuse to pay our taxes.

Oh definitely. Anti watford bias in the media. Like I've said the only major media outlet reporting him being born in watford is itv
