Btw was looking at the Fa Cup semi final records for all clubs and we have the equal worst record of any club that has appeared in more than 5 of them.
Can anyone guess who we are tied with?

Fact: Watford have a 100% record against Wolves this season. We're also unbeaten against Brighton and Millwall.

My time machine always catches me out. It's hard to remember which part of history we are when I type on here. Yes we beat Brighton in the semi and got to the final, but lost 3-2 to City in the final. It was a bit unlucky as we were winning 2-0 before Michael Oliver sent off two of our players and awarded City 3 penalties in the last 5 minutes.

City do win the Premier League, FA Cup and I think you already know they won the Carabao Cup, but they lose to Barcelona in the Champions League final. Pep was very unhappy at not winning the quadruple.

Whilst I was annoyed, as probably everyone else on here was, that City were massively helped by the referee (again) to ensure they won yesterday, don't forget...…...had City gone out (like they should have) the race for 7th would have been over.

Apart from some bragging rights and a couple of extra million quid in the bank, it wouldn't have given us European football. So as long as City are still in the FA Cup, a meaningful race for 7th is still on.

So what does Gracia do with the goalkeeping situation for the semi final?

Personally, I think he has to stick with Gomes, but the game is too historic and important not to have Foster at least on the bench. With Gomes, there is a real potential risk of injury and I don't think we should risk another goalkeeping crisis such as the situation in that final match against Leeds, or the wine waiter against Spurs in '87.

This is not to say Dahlberg is not up to it, but he's not yet made his debut. I'm not sure it's the wisest move to potentially hand him his debut in the FA Cup semi final at Wembley.

I'd like to think Dahlberg is an upgrade on Plumley.

I've been to them all bar the Chelsea one but my old man went. He was a Chelsea
fan although he had started taking me to Watford in 1967 as he moved to the town
in the fifties . Watford became his second team , Chelsea were my second team
then as I was taken to a few games at Stamford Bridge . Lost any respect for them
    a long time ago.

Been to all except 1970 where I had the limp excuse of not being born. Enjoyed none of them except Plymouth. Enjoy them even less now there at Wembley. I’m in America when there on this year but strangely ok about that

If you can get 10/1 on us it is definitely worth a punt - those are good odds when there are only 4 teams left - and only one with recent trophies.

    Indeed.
Was surprised to see they'd played in 6 semi finals. Mind you they had appeared in 4 before we played our first in 1970.

Bookies exposure to Wolves winning is probably huge. Loads will probably have lumped on when they dumped Liverpool out. Now they’ve done Man Utd I suspect more to lump on them than us. To be honest they looked a different level to when we last played them.

Would be great to play them in the final. Reasonably evenly matched, should be a cracking game and no obnoxious Mancs.

The FA is as corrupt as FIFA. They want a Wolves vs Man City final so I can guarantee they avoid each other in the Semi Final.

The draw will be Watford vs Man City and Wolves vs Millwall/Brighton.

Watford are just not a sexy club. Add that to the fact that there is huge corruption within Man City and Wolves, it’s pretty easy to see off shore payments being made to make sure they avoid each other.

Edit: under no circumstances will we get Millwall/Brighton

    GoingDown "The Stability"

Agreed. They've quickly changed from making a Man Utd vs Man City final happen to the Wolves vs Man City scenario after the result last night they didn't want.

Or did they want it all along? Those pesky FA strategists are good. Very good.

    Easy to do.

Simply film the draw several times until the required fixtures are achieved.

    Then broadcast ‘as live’.
