On the basis of tonight’s ganes, I’d rather have City than Wolves.

Bit iffy excluding Romesh Ranganathan in this day & age.

OGS is a fish on a heater. If they empty him next season it will end like Di Matteo.

    I’m fingers crossed for Plymouth.

Open question. How many Watford FA Cup semi finals have you been to?

I've been to 6 (including this next one). Has anyone done the lot.....all 7?

Rather than be our Nemesis the possible 2 matches against them could be classics and our crowning glory! :)

Delete a few emails, call a random number in the address book, file expenses & plan the next trip.

But really it’s the years of experience that you’re paying for.

I am the same as you 6 from 1984 0nwards including 2018/19. Apart from 1984 they have been pretty miserable experiences.

The day we lost 5-1 to Chelsea at WHL in 1970, I was watching St Albans City draw with Dagenham in an FA Amateur Cup semi-final at Cold Blow Lane (they lost the replay the following week at the Kennel).

Black Country folk get a little intimidated going to Birmingham so a day out in pork scratching free NW London might be too much for them.

Also, Gomie would be able to goad them in Portuguese during the inevitable penalty shootout.

Remember if it’s still tied after the penalty shootout, we win on alphabetical.

I will have been to all 7. I went with my dad as a 12 year old and stood on his shoulder on the concourse in front of the shelf to the left of the Watford fans behind the goal. About time we got to the final after the last 4 defeats,

I only became a fan long after the third semi (in 1987) - I followed the 2003 semi on the radio, watched the 2007 on the box (I could've gone but by then had had enough of the season as a match-goer) and went to 2016 (rarely felt so deflated after a match, even though it was far from our worst performance).

I think this is the most satisfying run to the semis out of the four - playing good football, got through some tough ties and with more conviction than in 2007 and 2016 (the Emirates apart) and have looked the most solid in defence. What FA Cup run would you lot pick as your favourite, after 1984? (I imagine it would be 1987 for those old enough to remember it.)

And on a loop on the Red Button.

Least we won't have to worry having a waiter in goal or half fit defenders in the team as in 1987/2007!

2003 was a nice surprise and we did ok whilst 2016 was a let down performance wise.

Back in '84 I went to every home and away match. Luton away and we were 0-2 down after about 15 minutes, but came back to 2-2 and had a crazy replay winning 4-3. Then it was off the The Valley for a routine 2-0 win at Charlton. We then beat Brighton 3-1 at the Vic, before having to run the gauntlet of hate in a 3-1 win a Birmingham. Back to Birmingham again for a semi final at Villa Park to beat Plymouth before we got to Wembley. This is my favourite FA Cup run.

87 with a waiter in goal, we never stood a chance, against Southampton we didn't turn up, against Palace we huffed and puffed, against United we were never going to cause an upset, same against Chelsea although we were level at half time before the floodgates opened, I know I haven't answered your question but against Plymouth we were favourites and didn't disappoint!

It would be a nice & telling nod to our history if Gracia did get a waiter or sommelier into the Wembley squad.

Hughes has something of a Hoxton mixologist about him.

Hopefully, Gino is unaware that we once fielded a waiter.

I wouldn’t put it past him to raid McDonalds for a couple of flippers cum centre backs for next season.

    That's easy, 2.
Giving me a 100% losing record when I attend, and on the last occasion a chance to emotionally scar my child for life by losing to Palace.

So glad we drew them in this round and not the semi's this time!

Guardiola - "Oh! ha ha. Yes. If it is not a penalty, and it is offside like the people say, I’m sorry. Sorry everyone! Sorry! Ha ha. Oh and an offside too? Oh yes, very sorry about that one too. Sorry! Sorry! Yeah, don't really mind who we get in the next round. Just hope I don't have to apologise for a load of wrong decisions going our way again..."

Yes, got the set, plus the LC semis. Plymouth feels like a complete aberration.

    They're a funny team.
Huddersfield have taken 6 points off them this season.
Not bothered who we get. Javi will have a game plan.

    The mental equivalent.

Although during office hours I do fall on the ground about half a dozen times & often shout & gesticulate at the office manager.

The bits I enjoy most are running to the corner of the canteen & jumping on my colleagues.

The odd thing is that we’re not allowed to wear trousers.

You've already been to this seasons? How did we get on?

Ive been to..ermmmmm.. one. Only 1984 (100% win rate!) 1970 was too young, 87 was touring Australia.. and for the post millennium ones i've been Living in Norway. Always a dilemma whether to come over for the semi and possibly not have the money/time for a Final trip.

    What to do this time?
