I have my last second year one tomorrow and i've never been so scared about an exam before. Probably shouldn't be wasting time on here. Oh well.

Geography. But that module mixes with other courses. Lets just say there's a lot of bad hair and walking boots in that lecture.

My first exam, AS System and Control's tomorrow. Got 11 exams in total, 2 Chemistry, 2 Physics, 1 Systems and Control, and 6 Maths exams, as I'm taking A Level Maths in one year.

System & control sounds interesting. What exactly does it cover?

Genuinely interested as I'm an engineering graduate myself.

Had my first exam today, the whole class thought it was awful, it was completely different to the mock he set us.

Got another on thursday and then one the following tuesday.

Oh yeh but subtly different usually. Our lecturer said it's going to be pretty much the same questions. We had 2 lectures on Nietzsche's Will to Power and it didn't even turn up in the exam. Thankfully I did ok though.

Good Luck to all of you taking exams. Wish you the very best!!!

I'm involved with exams myself but not taking them..I scribe/read for A and GSCE students for 6 weeks every year during the exam season. So you all have my sympathies and good wishes.

Hope it went well. Lesson though that students never understand. Learn the subject, not the paper, then nothing can shock you.

Luckily Nietzsche's topics all sort of blend together but it's hard when you can't do what you also did in your essay. It really narrows down the options to specialise in. Fortunately I did his views on Socrates and was fine but it's a really little known part whereas the will to power is a huge part of his philosophy, we spent 2 lectures on it, and it never came up on the exam.

2nd exam done now. 1 to go. Looking forward to the summer now, I try to suppress thoughts of when it's all over until after I finish but it's difficult on a beautiful sunny day like this.

Systems and Control mainly covers Electronics, with some mechanical systems, such as as gears, pulleys, cams and that involved. At AS-Level, 50% is a project, where you design a model based on a real life system (I chose to do a space counting system for a car park), and 50% is a 2-hour exam.

I've still got 7 exams left, including 4 Maths exams, and the exam board seem to be making the Maths exams tougher (fortunately Maths is my favourite subject)

In two hours I'll be sat down for a 3 hour exam on International Human Rights Law.

The content is good, very theoretical rather than practical, but the module organiser has included far too much, and asked questions that are far too specific considering the scope of the module. It is literally unreasonable to think undergraduates can learn the entirety of the law in the detail he demands. I've had to not revise some topics just so I can be comfortable with the ones I have.

I had 3 exams at the end of may and I have one more at the end of June. I get my results back on the second week of July. The wait isn't too bad but since I've got a feeling I've failed I want the results to come ASAP

Year 2 medicine exams. They were by a country mile the worst exams I've ever had in my life with the amount of content I have to cover. The exams didn't go that well for me and normally when I have gut feelings on this, I'm right. Hopefully I'm wrong this time round though

I'm at Hull York medschool - just finished my finals and hoping to be a doc on Friday. That said, I cocked up a couple of clinicals so may have to repeat the exams next year
