If Luton conceded 6 how would you all feel. happy? You’d have a little smirk yes?

    Better though I feel is:
Everton under Silva conceding 6, it is just delicious though. Thanks Santa !

Finally being found out for what he is. A toxic manager. Talks the talk convincingly, but that's about it.

Almost certain his next job will be in the Championship or overseas.

Some fans now want Silva out and Mourinho in to replace him. Sounds a good swap but doubt they'd get him. However, I can't see any of the top clubs touching Mourinho now, so Everton are probably the next best fit in England.

It wouldn't surprise me if Moshiri wasn't on the phone to Mourinho's agents, just to see the lie of the land.

Don’t see how Everton have any more pulling power than Watford now? If we finish above them we are the bigger club. How on Earth they think they’d get Mourinho I don’t know. He wouldn’t want to go to such a low level club.

Winning some sort of cup 20 million years ago means nothing. Fans on seats mean nothing money wise if you finish higher you get more money. They are basically Fulham or Leeds now

Just read Mike "porky" Parry, from TalkSport pretty much saying he wants him gone, on his Twitter feed. It really is meltdown time.

Has anyone got the heart to go on the Everton forum and just mention we've played Spurs twice this season. Won one and drew the other?

    Fatstic reading from the BBC:

Everton go into Christmas on the back of their heaviest defeat under Marco Silva, without a win in five league games and having conceded 11 times in three matches....

....Instead Everton have one fewer point after 18 games under Silva this season than after the same number of games last season following the dismissal of Ronald Koeman and the appointment of Sam Allardyce.

Everton actually have a good run of fixtures coming up, so this could all blow over.

However the next two are away, so bad results in those games could really ramp up the pressure.

    Burnley (a )
    Brighton (a )
    Leicester (h )
    Bournemouth (h )
    Southampton (a )
    Huddersfield (a )
    Wolves (h )
    Watford (a )

The Richarlison thread over there is saying what we said when he wasn't even trying. Seems they're slowly working out he doesn't like it when it's cold. Not bad for £45 million eh?

Anyone who goes on their forum and quotes these stats, and stats showing how he can’t keep up his performances after the honeymoon period with all 3 of his EPL ‘bitches’ gets my vote as poster of the year.

Please excuse my sexist mysogynistic (?) terminology and my sense of schadenfreude in this season of goodwill -

    - but as Mark Twain famously said, “The 3 most important days in your life are the day you were born, the day you realise why you’re here, and the day the evil snake is beaten”.

Everton must be expecting a lot more of Ssssnakey.

The only riposte following last season’s shenanigans is to be pressing the CL places.

Whereas they are looking up our @rse.

Sssssilva plainly doesn’t do defence. Fine so long as you can outgun the oppos upfront. Unfair to pretend Richie is a striker & tellingly stood down from that position today. Siggie excellent provided he has equal calibre players around him. Walcott hopeless & now a complete time waster. Lewin a kid.

    They don’t compare to ours.

Typical Everton really - have a few good results/close games but then get hammered by a big boy and have an iffy run.

Been the same since the 80s really generally save for a few seasons when they have been really bad.

In a post earlier today, I desisted from saying Pickford gives the appearance of a village idiot.

    I apologise.

Sssssilva never seems to understand that there is more than just him involved in a football match.

Tactics should factor in the opposition, especially if they are better than you.

He could be at Aston Villa by next season.

First goal was a proper howler, must be frustrating be an Everton fan, they no longer have ambitions of top (6 and if they do they are delusional). Overspending to be best of the rest will be their downfall in the long run (see Aston Villa)

There are a few Everton fans thinking he’s only got a couple of games to save his job!! Two away games at Burnley and Brighton.

I said he’d be gone before the New Year but didn’t really think it might actually come true.

Personally I don’t think he would be sacked but they must be disappointed with only winning 6 of their 18 matches after all the money they’ve spent on the squad.

Two bad results at this stage could see it all unravel very quickly.

Appalling challenge on fellow Buckinghamian Alli by Pickford.

After his bizarre assault on his own defender for the first & through the legs gaffe for the second.

    Pickford £25-30m.

    Foster £2.5m.

    Fingers crossed.

Everton don’t have any leaders, don’t have any cojones.

They seem like a team with a lot of people just passing through.

When that is the case, the manager has to really call people to account & create pride.

    That’s not what Ssssssnakey does.

Agreed but us fans wanted Pickford when he was at Sunderland, remember the reception we gave him, he did well for England in the summer, maybe its the Everton defence which is his problem!

Maybe Gino knows better than the fans. The model of an experienced, end of career keeper in a WFC squad which is always liable to see high turnover makes sense.

    Agreed Everton defence is shambolic.

    Keane & Pickford cost £50-60m.

Our midfield cost a fraction of that.

He really is a one trick pony, as soon as other clubs work out how his team plays he has no plan B, happened at Hull, us and now Everton!

Someone on the Everton forum desperately trying to defend Silva by saying "how do you beat this Spurs team anyway?". The reply was "dunno, better ask the Watford manager".

    Loved that one.

The level of self delusion on that forum is scary. To be fair, there are one or two trying to ground the rest of them and explain that they aren’t a top 6 club or anywhere near one, but the rest for some bizarre reason seem to think they are. As a result they are all losing their minds and calling for Silva to be sacked, because their expectations are wildly different to actual reality.
