We do have something in common with Everton.

We both scored two at home against Spurs.

 

The opposite can be said of Watford. Everyone thinks we are sh1t, when in fact we ARE a top 7 club.

Vydra & Smith barely reached a 100 on here.

They are a bigger club than us.

 

Unfortunately for them things like:
Stadium size, attendance and how good they were 30 years ago make very little difference these days.

Ultimately we are fishing in a very similar pond to them. The fact that the majority seem unaware of this is funny as **** imo. One of the funnier things on that thread mentioned how if they sacked slither they would be paying compensation to three managers, making them similar to us in that respect. Clueless. Lets see how much money their owner wastes on them before getting bored, shall we.

 

The majority of the Championship have bigger grounds, attendances and trophy cabinets. Counts for nowt. Sorry that it galls Evertonians that they are in the same pot as us, Muff, Wolves etc. Let them keep saying NO team should EVER put 6 past them. The longer their rude awakening is the more painful it will be.

I did note our posts tend to be longer.

Many of theirs seem more like grunts at each other.

Will Silva be sacked before our compensation claim gets settled?

 

It simply must be written that he survives until the game here. The FA announce the day before the game that Everton must pay a 15m fine, we beat them 6-0 and he gets sacked.

 

If there is a football god, then this is what will happen. Unfortunately/fortunately he'll be gone well before we play them. We'll probably have to deal with the new manager bounce instead!!

 

Unless they are at risk of relegation, then he'll probably have until the end of the season at least. He was the owner's absolute number one pick for nearly a year - should give him some credit for a midtable position for the time being.
