Sadly i'm a knackered kneecap, as my MCL is ****ed after an unrelated dislocation. But a pro footballer can come back from it, as long as the ligaments are still in working order - and Chalobah should be fine. No more football for me though unfortunately, although I cant help but play Sunday League occasionally.

We were the better team tonight and if it wasn't for the referee and the officials we would have won the game. I didn't really rate Everton to be perfectly honest, their team cost 200 million and they were very ordinary. Before the game I would have accepted a point so not the worst result and hopefully we can follow tonight's performance with a win at home to Cardiff on Saturday and our season will be back on track.

  6. Majority of the GOT seem to agree with toffeeblue9.

They all agree the Ref was awful but we got the worst of it. We were by far the better team second half and only marginally less so the first.

They seem an ok bunch. Very dissatisfied with their lot and a bit worried about anything past their first 11. Jury still seems out on Silva.

Maybe he is just a very naughty boy.

I was sick to my stomach when that went in at the end, but now I’ve kicked the neighbours cat over the fence and back a couple of times, I feel slightly better ( the cat had an Everton shirt on with Friend as the name on the back).

We deserved all three points and not a single person can disagree. The only ones that disagree are on the windup. Fair play to the multitude of Everton fans that have posted on social media saying that we deserved all three points and the ref was completely on their side. They know they got away with one, as does the footballing world.

We absolutely smashed them in their own back yard and I couldn’t be more prouder. We showed everyone that Silva is an absolute con artist and it won’t be long before the everton fans turn on him.

We have the much much much better manager in Gracia.

I agree with this tweet, their fans were pathetic inside the stadium, barely a peep from them. You would have thought we were the home team the amount of noise we were making. Their biggest cheer came from scoring a 96th minute fk against “tinpot” Watford. Unfortunately for them, this just sinks in the reality that they are battling it out with us. Historically a big club, but nothing more. They are on the same level as us, whether they like it or not.

They will go on to lose their next two games against Man City and Spurs, and the unrest will begin again.

Anyway back to the better club, we dominated and embarrassed them. The sooner VAR is in, the better. While everyone is annoyed at Kabasele and calling for him to be dropped, now is the time to play him. He knows he messed up and I would start him against Cardiff so he can right his wrongs. Watch him score against Cardiff and have an amazing game. Yes he is prone to some dumb decisions, but he is our best CB. He would have heard it from Gracia, Deeney and Holebas for sure after the game. No need to crucify the guy.

Again proud of the boys tonight, Everton played 100% to their ability, were on form and were all the way in fifth gear. It wasn’t an off game for them, we just crapped all over them and Silva’s tactics. Any coincidence that Lee Mason was also the 4th official, 6 minutes added on, was about as fair as Fury drawing with Wilder after ripping him to shreds 10 out 12 rounds. It was a joke and everyone knows it.

Excited for Cardiff, they will feel our wrath (I hope) and I fully expect us to get our biggest scoreline yet.

The atmosphere at Goodison is the worst i've ever heard (or not heard) since being in the Prem... Absolutely atrocious. Even 'Neutral stand' Fulham were better than that...

I have to say, there is an astonishing amount of big decisions going against us both when we are attacking and defending.

The consistency of it is mind blowing.

Prodl is shot I think. In the game I saw he played for Austria he was unbelievably slow and off the pace. I think if he was fit for purpose Gracia would have involved him by now given our issues. The neglectful lack of performance by the recruitment team and owners in this area is now being punished. Mariappa is genuinely the best option now.

Reasons to despair: the third rate Friend, Ssssnakey Sssssilva & desperado May.

Reasons to be cheerful: the youthful Quina, Anna Soubry & Wee Willie Harris.

Had a read of their forum and they're very neutral, agreed with most on here - don't see that often.

Just want to say I thought Quina was outstanding. Now I'm off to continue crying.

It was silent, apart from the wall of noise of moans and booing that went with each misplaced pass. You'd think that after years of mediocrity that they'd have lost the sense of entitlement, but no.

He's still in his golden phase for them. When he was scoring for us, I always thought he was one dimensional. Run and be forceful, but not much else. He's no nuance or special skill, but yeah still say more effective than, say, success, who's a lesser version of the same archetype

Even without the errors, the idea of Kabasele even stepping up to the likes of Everton, let alone los galacticos is preposterous

Keane looked shitscared every time Troy glanced at him.

Like a gawky inbetweener trying to smuggle a bottle of shandy past the bouncer.

I thought Troy did pretty well last night, in his "Bulldozer with an eye for a pass" mode. I think him absolutely clattering Coleman pumped up the team and came just before our two goals, just like in the Spurs game earlier this season.

Also thought Success played well again. I like them together but as has been discussed to death there's not much actual goal threat there, leaving us to rely on the midfielders to chip in, which sometimes happens, sometimes doesn't.

Thoroughly entertaining game (more so for the neutral), penalty and a save, referee and linesman controversy, 4 goals and last minute equaliser. I'd certainly take a game/performance like that over the last few games.

Everton the better side in the first half, we were much better second half - introduction of GD seemed to help. Well done to Gracia, saw it was getting stale recently and made some well thought out changes. Thought Quina and Sema were brilliant (just goes to show how little some of you lot know) and offered us something we'd been missing recently. Quina has the potential to be a very very good player, can't believe he's only 19* - hopefully he has plenty more involvement throughout the season. Once again Kabasele did a Kabasele, no surprises really and no real anger considering we (and the club) know what's he's like, just more of a reason to get another centre back in during the January transfer window. Both Deeney and Success played well as individuals but as a unit they aren't particularly that threatening in front of goal but that's nothing new, much prefer them over Gray. Chalobah looks a shadow of his former self but that's probably his lack of match fitness - looking forward to seeing him 100% later on in the season.

All in all, a good point away from home and plenty of positives to take into Cardiff.

Good to see that we're competing with teams that have spent hundreds of millions over the last few seasons.

Frustrating to concede in the last minute like that but an excellent performance and I think most people would have taken a point before the game. Quina is superb - he reminds me of N'Golo Kante. Well done to all the Watford fans who made the journey - although the long trip was probably less of a bore than listening to that tedious yob Carragher drone on for an hour before the kick off on Sky
