If you're making out there is an even balance with decisions for and against, then I disagree with you.

It's clear plenty of big calls are going against us now, and it's happening most weeks. Even the players are talking about the lack of respect Kevin Friend was giving them.

We have to survive this season, as it's too much having to compete against good sides and bad decisions. It's too much to cope with. We're not Man City, and we cannot overcome this relentless adversity.

The game has gone now, so nothing can be done about it. I'm resigned to it, and now know this season is only about getting 19 extra points. We survive this season then VAR will save us going forward.

Still we should have won, but for some reckless play from Kabasele. He's a good player, but he's doing some crazy things and of course it's always spotted. Unlike Mina's foul on Success. Had that been Kabasele on a yellow, it would have been a foul and second yellow for him and everyone would say it was deserved and he's a silly boy again. Because an Everton player does it, it gets conveniently missed. The offside I accept because it's only two foot offside. You cannot expect a linesman to make a correct call when it's such a big gap. Walcott was probably too far out of his line of vision. But they redeemed themselves by spotting the veneer margin of offside on Success when he broke clear just before half time.

They also did extremely well spotting the Kabasele slight push for the penalty and the handball for their equaliser. I suspect these would have been difficult decisions to make had they been the other way around, as the contrast for vision on a blue shirt is not as clear on a yellow or green shirt.

Kevin Friend did a good job tonight. Everton will feel it's money well spent. 6 minutes of injury time, plus play until you score on top of that is quite expensive after all, but it gave them a priceless point.

    He’s a strangely limited player.

He’s a confidence player & seems to lose that confidence at the drop of a hat.

He can't/won't turn quickly, it's horrible to watch. He was wrestling with some Everton no mark over by the touchline and the ball squirmed behind them on his side. Any other player would've just turned round and regained the ball but he went through the most unnatural process to turn 180° and by that stage the opposition player had nicked the ball and was haring forward.

    Could well be unfortunately.
    This era's Paul Franklin.
Would be a terrible shame for him.

    I fear you’re right.

His beard also somehow makes him look slower but that can be addressed.

    Tonight we saw the future.

    Quina.

I would not be surprised if he becomes a much bigger name than Richie.

He’s far from a lost cause but is clearly struggling as he’s not up to speed, hasn’t played any U23 games and has come into the team when they’ve been lacking confidence to play with the ball, which is his biggest asset. When we play to our strengths, he’ll get the space and time afforded to him in CM where he will recapture his game IMO - but realistically with the number of games we have upcoming, Capoue returning and the emergence of Quina, I think he may need to be patient and get a pre-season behind him and start again next season, whilst getting snippets of football this campaign. Sounds mad to say that but we know he’s potentially one of our best players and I hope the club give him the chance to realise that - and I hope he has the patience as well. I just sense this season will be a write-off for him in the long term.

Is that a wind up? Really funny mate. 6 minutes extra time was a joke.

Capoue & Quina could well be our first choices for the second half of the season.

Hughes & Chals to Fulham for their promotion push?

Before my time, but Nate coming off a long term injury, to still charge around regardless of his effectiveness, is nice to see.
ACL's, for example, are almost impossible to come back from. But broken kneecaps can be.
Not sure of the intricacies of Chabo's injury, but kneecaps can be properly repaired. Speaking from personal experience

I questioned Gracia's starting 11 but he proved again he knows what to do with his squad, I thought everyone put a shift in Quina is one hell of a promising player how Wet spam let him go is beyond me Motm tonight and once he gets rid of some of those niave decisions we have a great player in there. Every player deserves praise we played against 12 men again these ******* refs need punished shocking we should be sat comfortably in 6th position. Kabasele must of signed for Everton before that match. We all thought it was Doucoure but we've been led astray by the press as kabasele signed a contract and goes in Jan. I feel for kabasele as his decisions in his time with us have been unreal Bournemouth spuds tonight Bournemouth away a couple year ago list is endless but I think there's a great player in there I suppose that's why he plays for us and not Madrid.

    Hughes!?
Quina looks the real deal, but don't forget he's very young and may fail to sustain his early form .

A forum crowdfund for a Moog retirement home in Broadstairs or St Leonard’s on Sea?

    We’ll see.

Young Quina may be irrevocably discombobulated by Brexit or fall prey to wiccan magick - as may we all- but I thought his debut was inspiring.

Totally agree, he was quality but not getting in Box cos he’s out there in the last third winning the ball. With a quick forward alongside him he’d still be quality...Success also showed massive quality in hold up play tonight

Quina superlative for a kid - 19 a fortnight ago - but also kudos to Pereyra.

Two assists & fantastic covering going back.

He can fade from games but I felt he understood the importance of the match.

The most accomplished player on the pitch.
