Special mention to this ****. Stayed down when we put the pressure on at the start of the second half, then has a go at Chalobah when he went down with the high foot incident. How's that broken knee cap Andre you wuss?

We outplayed you from the moment you scored your goal that shouldn't have stood. How on earth you can say you edged the first half I literally have no idea.

Give me Javi and his brand of football any day over that c**t Silva. The bloke is a total fraud.

Not in terms of the goals, where he was faultless, but in terms of his general inability to clear the ball effectively. I love the guy, but hoofing it to row Z is occasionally the best option, rather than attempting cross field balls to a striker who's only 3 feet in front of him.

    Few additional points.

Chalobah's first four touches were abysmal - he is clearly rusty - but he grew into the game. At the end he was keeping possession fairly well.

Doucoure also has to take a bit of flack for their second. About 30 seconds earlier, he had the opportunity to run the ball into the corner, but he tried an audacious cross-field pass which was easily won back by Everton.

I thought Gracia generally did well and got his tactics right today.

I was impressed with Sema. During our poor first 30 mins he looked a dangerous player and put in some inviting crosses. Was the right player to take off but certainly would have him start again. Deulofeu for now looks more suited to an impact sub role as he helped turn the tide.

Sema start then bring on Deulofeu 2nd half like today.

Haven't watched it back mate as I've only just got back from the game. My instinct was that Walcott was offside when he stupidly touched the ball in the build up - I sit at that end. Sounds like I was right.

Thought we were marginally better in the 1st half, and I do mean marginally, but don't have a problem with you disagreeing. Wasn't like we were outstanding or anything and Watford did cause us problems at times.

2nd half wasn't even close though. Nobody has ripped us apart like that for ages.

Gutting but I would have taken this result before and I think overall a point is decent.

Positives Quinoa is more than decent. Foster is still on form.

Of course Pereyra had half a chance right at the end - shame that didn't go in!

Feel Everton are just being Everton - odd good run but lots of average home results.

Glad the travelling fans had a good game to enjoy despite the ending.

Mind you better than last season's...

I actually think having Success and Sema out wide will cause a lot of teams problems. Only issue is where GD fits in. Would be interesting to see the same lineup against Cardiff

I assumed Quina was a bit lightweight. But he bought more fouls than anyone (barring the foul-magnet Success) and was tidy to boot.

Troy played well tonight overall but again showed why he’s not a goal scorer anymore. Success beats man in touch line and plays into the box, Troy is stood outside it watching.

Last chance of game and a poacher gambles back post as Pereyra shot skews into a cross.

And his shooting is done in slow motion nowadays.

But his overall game play was really good. Similar story to success (different reasons). Both played their part but not likely to score many.

I really hope the same fight is seen against Cardiff. Take the foot off and they're exactly the type who will pull our pants down.

Quina looks a real player and my MOM. We looked good tonight and thought we were solid all round.

Deulofeu has that bit of quality we were lacking and we missed that (and Hughes) first half.

    Top effort all round

    Play the lad Quina again.
He deserves another go,although NC will not improve until he gets more than 15 minutes.
Very difficult to pick up the pace of a game, only ever getting a small segment.

The struggle to avoid posting when a game has only just finished and the blood is up is too difficult:
There are plenty of observations to make about this game, but I'll stick to just one:
    Kabasele!
Part of the problem is he spends 95% of a game looking like a good player and you could see why Javi feels he has to play him and why so many supporters are fans of him. But, (and here I'll apologize in advance for being Mr Smug), I've been saying for weeks he is a liability. That 95% is fine but he makes sudden rash and stupid decisions and he has done this again and again. Javi, I'm sure, knows this and has already dropped him before. I wish people would stop going on about Mariappa being a championship player - he may be stretched to play at this level, but he doesn't make regular mis-judgements of this calibre. Kabasele directly costs us points: Two this evening and he did his best to lose all 3. I don't think I've seen Gracia look so angry at the end of a game, nor, indeed a number of the players.

Nice to hear opposing fans thoughts.

I thought we were more than worthy of the win and did probably play the best we have seen since the
opening four days of the season. Lots of positives to take for us tonight despite the result in the end.

Richarlison seems to want to play for your lot more than he did for us, that is clear. But I still think
it's more of Silva's psychological mentoring than footballing brains by him. Decent game, both teams
gave it a go and your probably happier with the point than we are. Which is odd to say as 8pm I would
of bitten off a hand for a point here.

For everyone criticising Kabasele, I know where you are coming from...but take a deep breath and count to 10. He didn’t do anything that doesn’t come naturally to him sadly. He’s always been the CB that has more natural ability than our others but is far more prone to clumsy challenges - expecting anything else is just kidding ourselves. The only thing that stops his errors are better CB’s at the club that put pressure on his spot in the team and make him focus his efforts on certain aspects of his game as he knows he’ll be dropped otherwise. We all know that Mariappa isn’t the answer. Personally I think it’s time to see what Wilmot can do at CB... But if Gracia is going to go with Kabasele and Cathcart, he has to designate one of them at the leader of the back 4 as they don’t look like a partnership and too often play like strangers to one another. Kabasele has to have someone yelling at him and reading the riot act to him for these mistakes - but it never happens. So it continues. I’d happily accept a lower quality of ball playing CB now, but one that can control a back 4 and just do the basics, and most importantly LEAD.

This team desperately lacks a vocal leader who sets standards on the pitch.

Quina was a bright spot and should keep his place. I’m one of a minority I’m sure who thought that although nowhere near his best, there were glimpses from Doucoure that were better than previous games. Chalobah clearly needs a couple of U23 games.

Thought tonight was a much improved performance from recent away games and has surely given the team a bit of spirit that’s been missing in recent weeks - Gracia should turn their obvious anger into positive energy fairly easily.

As everyone knows, I’m not one for FA conspiracy theories and I won’t start tonight. But on a singular performance, I think that’s the worst officiating I’ve seen this season in the PL. There’s no excuse for Kabasele doing a ‘Kabasele’ in the 95th minute but there was not 6 minutes to be added and it’s scandalous really. The Mina second yellow and the opening goal speak for themselves. What would have been wrong with the ref and his linesman consulting one another? As I’m convinced the linesman knows Walcott was offside but didn’t think he touched it - and Kevin Friend thought the exact opposite. Shambolic and yet they won’t be forced to answer for it.

I thought I’d be going to bed thinking Theresa May was the biggest **** in the country. Kevin Friend takes that title...until the next Brexit fall out.

He also made two massive defensive contributions, nicking the ball off Walcott's foot as he was bearing down on Foster and getting back to tackle Richarlison when he was a few yards out and about to pull the trigger.

With reflection this is a very important point. Obviously very disappointed to lose 2 points in that manner but the spirit and fight was clearly evident tonight. Hopefully this will galvanise the team with us securing 3 points against Cardiff. Its great to see us score 2 goals, especially away from home at a intimidating ground.

Kabasele will be fully aware of his faults but he can't continue to commit these silly fouls. I'm sure Troy and a few others will be in his ear after the match. On his day he is our best defender but needs to eradicate these mistakes from his game. Quina was very good considering his age and inexperience. Doucouré had an improved performance and showed great desire to get in the box, win the header and score. I'm sure we will see more of that from him with him now gaining some confidence back in-front of goal.

Deeney worked very hard and led the line from the front. Holebas had a very good game and deserves some credit. He gets a lot of stick sometimes rightly and sometimes wrongly. His tantrum at the end at least shows his passion to win, although, it can be seen as rather petulant. I presume he was frustrated with the challenge from Kabasele.

Overall, everyone put in at least a 7 out of ten performance barring Kabasele due to his two stupid errors. So many positives to take and some negatives. We take the draw, prepare for Cardiff and stabilise our position in the middle of the table.

Feels like a defeat if I'm being honest mate, but only because we were desperate for a win tonight. A point isn't enough.

Obviously in the context of the game a point is a good result, but I've barely celebrated an injury time equaliser less.

Very strange that it's a kick in the teeth for both sets of fans in some ways.

Mariappa is not the answer if the question is ‘Who should take Kabasele’s place?’

Wilmot or even Prodl I feel are better options. But neither are the long term answer. Mariappa applies himself magnificently as a professional but he makes basic errors as well. The clear answer is solid investment in another CB - that way you get instant improvement to the defence and players like Kabasele having to raise their standards.

Any solution other than that is just a short-term cover job. And we all know it.

Don't know much about Cardiff but presume they knock it long to a big lump upfront so Prodl should be able to cope with that. Just can't have him on the pitch against anyone with a turning circle better than an oil tanker.
